Diet Rite also has NO caffeine and not sodium. Most diet sodas are very high in sodium.

I'd love to be on the list!

I'm not in it for the weight loss per se - I don't even own a scale - but to shed about two inches from my waist and hiney. Gotta be svelte if I'm to portray a Noble Native American, y'know.

(And must get down to below fighting weight before rehearsal starts - it's too damn hot to live without Gatorade, which is LOADED with carbs. Although Xena's Guy thinks that if I'm working - or sweating - them off, I'll be okay.)

Thanks...I have to find it somewhere. I remember the commercials from yrs. ago and haven't heard one in years. I didn't even know they were still around until I heard Atkins talk about it one time.

I have been on the Atkins diet for a little over a month now and have lost 20 pounds. It's a lot easier now than it was 30 years ago, but I need help on some of the Atkins stuff that is worth buying.

I have an ice cream maker ordered and there is not an abundance of recipes out there that are low carb. Can I use about any custard recipes? That is about what ice cream is, isn't it?

I bought some of the baking mix and tried using it to bread chicken and fish to fry and it was awful. Have you baked anything using that stuff? I am not afraid to be creative but I need guidance.

I was on that diet a few years back. All I could think about was potatos, must have starch. My mouth was craving anything but cheese and meat. I admit I did loose a few pounds though.

I can remember that when I finally reached my weight goal I faniticized about an apple. I would salivate just thinking about one.

If you are still on Atkins, try a low carb, high fiber bread and make your own bread crumbs. My sister says that Trader Joes has a good one.

Also, you might try making a very thin omlette with crab and havarti cheese filling. I added mushrooms and onion, as well.

I just bought a Splenda low carb cookbook and I have all but one ingredient to make bread. I've found that some of my regular recipes even though they contain a forbidden ingredient, once you calculate what an individual serving would contain, it isn't many more carbs than some of the icky substitutes. The last time I fried chicken I just used flour in a zip loc bag as usual and it didn't affect my on going weight loss or my keto sticks. The same with fish. I lost another 5 pounds.
