Cruise Greece

"European Vision" is a brand new cruise ship, built just one and a half years ago. It weights 58,600 tons and accommodates 1566 passengers. The cabins are well-appointed with TV, mini-bar, telephone, hair dryer and safe box. The suites even have a balcony. The food is plentiful, delicious and of a high quality and two of the buffet dining rooms are open round the clock.

The service is of a very high standard with 24 hour room service.

The facilities on board are numerous - 9 elevators, 4 swimming pools, 9 bars, a casino, discotheque, theatre, gym, baskeball and volleyball courts, mini-golf, tax-free shops, a children's club, thalassotherapy and health centers etc.

What is most important though, is that the rates are very reasonable.

More research is needed on what is reasonable and what the heck's thalassotherapy - does it involve ropes and knots and stuff?

Good morning Toots! I'm on DSL, so don't change your wicked ways on my account...once Loddy pushed us over 1,000 posts and we jumped, speed returned. Not to worry. ;-)

We have about 8" on the ground at this point, it's a winter wonderland out there.

Thalassotherapy comes from the Greek word thalassos, or sea, and is a treatment system using fresh heated seawater which induces an exchange of minerals and toxins between the blood and the water. It is extremely popular in Europe, especially France.

As with thermal spas, thalassotherapy centres benefit those with certain medical conditions such as arthritis, and also those without. Typically, a stay at a thalassotherapy centre would include daily bathing in a heated seawater pool with jets, and other facilities such as as massages, aromatherapy or algae wraps.

Euros are very big on water spas and resorts - we spent a day at one in northern Italy, and it was pretty cool. We did not participate in any algae wraps.
