This is our own corner of Free Republic where homeschoolers can discuss what curriculum we use, vent when needed, share our successes, compare notes, alert each other to things we find on the internet, and vent some more.

Ok, another year, a fresh start!!! My ping list is a lot smaller as the long one is not available to me at this time...I pieced together what I could from my FReepmail. If I left anyone off, please let me know (in FReepmail, so I have something to fall back on.)

Got this in my email a short while back: "Check out this site. You can see an entire college chemistry course worth of video lectures (38 lectures) on the internet, given by a chem professor at A&M." http://chem107.chem.tamu.edu/brown/movies.php3

Howdy! Today is our first day back 'to school' from our Christmas break. It is a light day, so we can all get re-acclimated. Besides, it's snowing, AGAIN! Any old excuse, right?

Hope everyone's New Year is the best ever!

Hi there.

First day of the second semester and we're blazing! Began our study on Ancient Greece and are using Archimedes as family reading. Good stuff!

I got up extra early for quiet time and last minute prep...sure makes a difference! <><

The link in post 13 works. I messed up the complete URL address in my previous tries. (It wasn't that hard either, lol)
