I really liked halloween when I lived in town. The kids were so much fun. We don't get any trick or treaters any more. Bummer.

It will be a blessing when he passes over.

I know how that is. My Grandfather passed away not too long ago and the last four months for him were really bad.
It was a blessing fro him as well.

In the 20 years I've lived in I've dealt with them ONCE - and that was enough for me!!!

The fun is in trying to outdo them.
I answered the door last night in a cape, a witches hat, and carrying a black cat in my right arm.

If I lived in a better neighborhood I would probably enjoy it much more than I do. But considering I don't allow my 4 year old to play in front of the house in broad daylight, and they only permit trick-or-treating between 6 & 8pm in most towns in this state, it's not really an option.

Which is why I go with other friends with children in their neighboroods. I realize that sounds tacky, but unfortunately it's because of where I live. as soon as we move I am sure I will have a better attitude.
