A Clovis chiropractor was at the heart of an international child pornography ring that transmitted images so despicable they nauseated investigators, authorities said Friday after they unsealed indictments in Fresno.

Lloyd Alan Emmerson, 45, was among nine Americans and six foreigners charged with taking sexually explicit photographs of minors and sending them over the Internet as part of a ring whose members sometimes referred to themselves as "the club."

The necklace thing really bothers me. Brenda said "she never took it off" in "two years". Kids who are abuse often wear clothes/things to cover abuse marks. What really bothers me is the fact that Brenda didn't make her take it off, in two years, since she was five.

I've asked my self, would a five year old (kindergartener- 5-6 years) be (fashion consciously-'aware') to want that choker on 'all the time'. I don't think so. At that age they must be encouraged/influenced as to what is fashionable. I say her mother encouraged her to wear it, 'all the time'.

Besides, what kind of scar a surgical one, leaves a wide tissue scar to cover on the throat--thiroid/sp -gland?? That kind of scar would be closer to the collar/shoulder bones. I've seen that kind of scar on someone before..

Again, the necklace thing bothers me... Brenda said I never made her take it off.. Brenda was never asked, -Did you encourage her to keep it on....

I have seen these necklaces. Go to Claire's boutique or any earring store at the mall if you want to see what it is made of. The plastic is extremely flimsey and delicate. Without a doubt, the same necklace did NOT last for two years, if the child never took it off.

But worse than that, I am highly suspicious of the story about "the necklace" because the Van Dams never said anything without an intention.

That is, they purposefully made a huge deal about the necklace. Why? Because they KNEW she had the necklace on when she died. I still think whoever killed her, KNEW how much the little girl loved the necklace, so they left it on her. It was far, far, too delicate not to have been broken during the struggle for her life, as Dusek pointed out. It was a stretchie piece of plastic, as thin as a rubber band...not even as durable.

However, children who are incest victims almost always say and believe and even write down statements like those found in Danielle's diary. They're made to believe they are being raped because they are bad. They tiptoe around the assaulting parent trying to get on good side 24/7...what else can they do?

I edited book by a rather famous incest survivor, whose father started raping her on her first day of school, and she told me she spent her childhood working very hard at being a perfect little child. The foundation she started for incest victims found that they almost all shared this quality. "Please forgive me, I'll be better...." With parents like Brenda and Damon, it's not a huge leap to associate Danielle's writings with child rape.

Spec, you are dead on here (excuse the pun). I think we ought to take another look at the vds testimony. They didn't say a single thing without a purpose.

The guy who is on CTV with Lisa Bloom played a lot of the vd's testimony on Friday. I was shocked at the lies and carefully placed distractions that were in practically every answer.

Talking about the 'boo game,' Layla's bloody nose, the broken night light, etc. It all means something -- what?

Fox TV did an interview with an investigator about porn and pedophile profiles. DW is nothing like them. This timing is fortuitous. Leet's hope a few jurors don't turn the channel quite fast enough.

Just a small item that has been bugging me. Both parents took credit for putting the gate in Danielle's doorway. Why the battle on this small detail?

So start with the 911 tape. Brenda gives way too much information, needlessly, in this tape. As you put it so well "carefully placed" distractions (or clues?)..

They are not that smart; it's just that the LE acted stupid buying one explanation after the other, changing stories and time-lines.

After the verdict, and the GAG order is lifted, there should be some very interesting reading and new information from all sides. (Although CTV and Larry King didn't have much of a problem with the GAG order, did they?) At least the Prosecution didn't have any complaints with them...go figure.

I saw the necklace-- in the bag photo--

I don't know how flimsy-(weak) the plastic necklace was, like in comparing new to worn and 2 years old. You could be right, that (they -whom ever ) thought the necklace was more important as a ID'ing type of thing, if that is what you are saying.
Maybe so, that the plastic became more important to Danielle out out sentiment, because she wore it for 2years prior. However, the prior Dec. she was bought (14 K gold or ?K-gold) Mickey M. earings, she didn't take that off either, according to Brenda. I say Brenda encouraged her to wear or not wear whatever.

Also, her teeth were missing --not her two front teeth, but the ones next to central incisors(or the ones on each side of the central- called 'LATERAL INCISORS'), these were 8- year permanent adult teeth, that were just breaking through the sockets. (see passport photo - show central incisors and baby canines) The only noticeable teeth are the front and baby canines. According to Sperber, her left/right incisors (next to central- that don't show in photo) were just breaking through -their crown were showing, according to the empty left and right sockets that he found.

This was also odd to me. According to Sperber, It was odd to him too. The sockets were there but not the left right permanant insicors. I say, it took more than force to dislodge those teeth. They had to be pulled. Again, really odd to me......................
