AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 521) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 26, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 06/26/2002 4:18:31 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

WorldCom discovered for the entirety of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002, its CFO was overreporting earnings - to the total tune over the period of nearly $4 billion. Arthur Andersen was the accounting firm; they claim their work was in compliance with SEC standards and that it was WorldCom's CFO that was withholding data from them. The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. A preliminary search of the Internet has not, so far, turned up any connections with the previous Administration. Give it time.

Martha Stewart is now facing a wider investigation into her stock dealings. She says she wants "to concentrate on [her] salad."

The FBI searched a home near Ft. Ditrick. The home belonged to a scientist with access to anthrax.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I like the logic, but that's the problem, liberals, democRATS, leftist don't utilize logic and reason. Just emotion.

OK, I'm done raining on parades today. ;^)

My question for Mr. Newdow - did he pay his lawyers with United States script?

If so, he is a hypocrite.

My mom just called, they just took Jacob to surgery (4 hours late.) Anyway, his hematacrit has gone up a bit, and his LDL is down a bit, on his own, which is good news. They have to watch him in recovery for a couple of hours, but this is the best news we've had in days. Hopefully, the hematacrit (red blood cells level) will keep going up, and the LDL down.

I'm glad that I'm NOT Michael Newdow.

I believe it is appropriate to gather on the street outside his place of residence and, with a loudspeaker, begin recitation of the Pledge, as codified in the 1950s legislation.

#146.....Thanks :)

No flooding that I know of.........but the ground is pretty darn saturated, and the water is creeping up my back yard from the pond.

I want to point out that the dissenter on the three-judge panel, who did NOT think the "under God" phrase was unconstitutional, was appointed by Dad Bush.

Little tommy must be sweating in his itty-bitty penny-loafers ...

*Prayers* to ALL y'alls ... and to ALL y'alls' alls ...

Let me just share with you some information I got when I called my two Democratic senators and my congressman. First off, I could not get through to either Senator's office in Washington, DC. So, I then called my Congressman, Adam Putnam and got through. I told the young man that answered the phone that I was SO OUTRAGED that I felt like THROWING something at somebody. He laughed and said, "Ma'am, you are about the 400th person that has called us in the last hour to tell us the very same thing." I gave him my information (name, address, etc) and then he asked me what message I would like to give the Congressman. I told him this: I am sick and tired of leftist, liberal judges telling ME what I can or cannot say. I asked him these 2 judges in CA were paid in US Currency because if they were, then wouldn't that be UNCONSTITUTIONAL? If "GOD" should not be said in the Pledge of Allegiance, than can it be printed on currency? Can we still sing God Bless America? Or would our children be stripped of those rights also? He thanked me for my comments and promised to pass them on to Mr. Putnam.

Then I went to work on my two Democratic Senators....Bill Nelson and Bob Graham. I tried to get Washington for the longest time, but apparantly the phone lines are jammed. So, I tried their offices here in Tampa. I finally got through to Sen. Nelson's office, and the poor girl there said that she had already taken OVER 2000 phone calls, and that every single one of them were AGAINST this ruling. Same when I finally got through to Sen. Graham's office. And I told them both that I am an American citizen and NO JUDGE IN THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN OR CANNOT SAY. That I would go on reciting the Pledge of Allegiance no MATTER WHAT they ruled. They agreed. I am assuming that Washington, DC is being swamped right now with outraged people calling their senators and congressmen/women.

One other thing that was confirmed by all 3 offices was this: the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has the highest record of having their rulings overturned. Sen. Graham's office told me that 29 out of 30 of their rulings had been overturned and this one would more than likely to be overturned as well. I said, "Well, I sure hope so..because that idiot in CA, and the other two idiots that made the ruling are going to have the WRATH OF AMERICA come down on them and they will have wished this day had never existed.

Now, I am listening to CSPAN-2 (I assume they called a special session on this?) and I am hearing that they will be taking a vote later today to tell the court in CA that they do not agree with this ruling..that's right....Democrats and Republicans actually working together in the Senate. I also mentioned to Senator Nelson's office that if people don't like it here in this country, if they don't like being profiled or whatever it is that is impoverishing them, than I would GLADLY pay for their tickets back to their homeland. She laughed and said, "I'm with you."

Okay...so....don't try and call Washington, you won't get through. Call their local offices in your state.

illstillbe, my cousin Betty loved the treats I sent her (your idea!) and appreciated them so much: A little garden book, scented soaps, candies, some cute stick-it notes....

She's losing her hair, has a terrible taste in her mouth... but is hanging in there...

Also my roses are very happy with the seaweed!!
