We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
WorldCom discovered for the entirety of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002, its CFO was overreporting earnings - to the total tune over the period of nearly $4 billion. Arthur Andersen was the accounting firm; they claim their work was in compliance with SEC standards and that it was WorldCom's CFO that was withholding data from them. The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. A preliminary search of the Internet has not, so far, turned up any connections with the previous Administration. Give it time.
Martha Stewart is now facing a wider investigation into her stock dealings. She says she wants "to concentrate on [her] salad."
The FBI searched a home near Ft. Ditrick. The home belonged to a scientist with access to anthrax.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Maybe we should start the Thread each AM with this???......:))))
OK, I'm done raining on parades today. ;^)
5.56mm
If so, he is a hypocrite.

We've had nonstop RAIN for weeks......
This is Wednesday......It's raining.
I left for Texas last Wednesday......It was raining.....
Busy cleaning house...........the pastor of the church we've belonged to for 14 years is calling tonight.
Not sure why......other than we've signalled we're about to join the PCA church here in our area.
Have you had any flooding over your way?

I believe it is appropriate to gather on the street outside his place of residence and, with a loudspeaker, begin recitation of the Pledge, as codified in the 1950s legislation.
Good idea, it worked with algore and "get outta Cheney's house".
;^)
5.56mm
My best to the V.C.U. grad that lives there. ;^)

No flooding that I know of.........but the ground is pretty darn saturated, and the water is creeping up my back yard from the pond.
OK....back to the salt mines.....house must be spiffy for Pastor :)
To top it off ... it occurs to me that we have not had a Constitutional President since 1954!
No! Wait! The Constitution is ... UNConstitutional ... *sigh*
These liberals ... they ain't got no fertilizer in their plots ....

You too, bees' knees ... A good one!
Well ... this might be the best thing that's happened since W. got elected ... I am looking forward to seeing how feinstein ... boxer ... et. al will 'splain this one. HAR!
Little tommy must be sweating in his itty-bitty penny-loafers ...
*Prayers* to ALL y'alls ... and to ALL y'alls' alls ...
Then I went to work on my two Democratic Senators....Bill Nelson and Bob Graham. I tried to get Washington for the longest time, but apparantly the phone lines are jammed. So, I tried their offices here in Tampa. I finally got through to Sen. Nelson's office, and the poor girl there said that she had already taken OVER 2000 phone calls, and that every single one of them were AGAINST this ruling. Same when I finally got through to Sen. Graham's office. And I told them both that I am an American citizen and NO JUDGE IN THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN OR CANNOT SAY. That I would go on reciting the Pledge of Allegiance no MATTER WHAT they ruled. They agreed. I am assuming that Washington, DC is being swamped right now with outraged people calling their senators and congressmen/women.
One other thing that was confirmed by all 3 offices was this: the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has the highest record of having their rulings overturned. Sen. Graham's office told me that 29 out of 30 of their rulings had been overturned and this one would more than likely to be overturned as well. I said, "Well, I sure hope so..because that idiot in CA, and the other two idiots that made the ruling are going to have the WRATH OF AMERICA come down on them and they will have wished this day had never existed.
Now, I am listening to CSPAN-2 (I assume they called a special session on this?) and I am hearing that they will be taking a vote later today to tell the court in CA that they do not agree with this ruling..that's right....Democrats and Republicans actually working together in the Senate. I also mentioned to Senator Nelson's office that if people don't like it here in this country, if they don't like being profiled or whatever it is that is impoverishing them, than I would GLADLY pay for their tickets back to their homeland. She laughed and said, "I'm with you."
Okay...so....don't try and call Washington, you won't get through. Call their local offices in your state.
She's losing her hair, has a terrible taste in her mouth... but is hanging in there...
Also my roses are very happy with the seaweed!!
