AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 521) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 26, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 06/26/2002 4:18:31 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

WorldCom discovered for the entirety of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002, its CFO was overreporting earnings - to the total tune over the period of nearly $4 billion. Arthur Andersen was the accounting firm; they claim their work was in compliance with SEC standards and that it was WorldCom's CFO that was withholding data from them. The Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation. A preliminary search of the Internet has not, so far, turned up any connections with the previous Administration. Give it time.

Martha Stewart is now facing a wider investigation into her stock dealings. She says she wants "to concentrate on [her] salad."

The FBI searched a home near Ft. Ditrick. The home belonged to a scientist with access to anthrax.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Just wanted to say Hi! Sorry if I've been AWOL (UA now I believe the UCMJ infraction is called).

Sometimes I feel like I'm in a parallel universe. The 9th circuit (I know, fruits, nuts, and flakes) has just ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance is now unconstitutional!?

Sheesh! I would like to beam up, or slide, or...I just want back into the universe that I came from.

The US Court of Appeals out of SAN FRANCISCO has just ruled the pledge of Allegiance unconsitutional because of the phrase "under God." (Red Skelton must be weeping from heaven.) Until this is overturned, no public schools within this district may recite the Pledge, includes California, Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon. Open message to the 12th Circuit:

Bet I can get the following message to all those in that area of the country who use the Internet:

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION,
UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE,
WITH LIBERTY,
AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL.

You will not stop us!

Hi guy!

Just add about 27 years, some hard knocks and a touch of gray hair to that picture and you'll know what I look like now. 8^)

One of the best thing I ever did was go into the Army. (With a little push from Uncle Sam and a judge...if you catch my drift ;^)

12th should read 9th.

I've got things going on in the office, and my two remaining brain cells are taxed to the max.

The libs may live to regret this "victory"!!

What could signal the difference between the Red and Blue zones in a more emphatic way than a ruling AGAINST the Pledge of Allegiance, and RIGHT now in these times, and RIGHT before the 4th????

I'm thinking we've got a few more red zoners today!!

From your keyboard to God's ear.

Methinks I'll go to a public place and recite the Pledge of Allegiance...do ya think they (the powers that be) would stop an old vet?

Current FoxNews online poll (non-scientific):

Not sure - 1%
"Under God" violates the Establishment Clause - 9%
"Under God" should remain - 90%

THAT'S IT!!!

Buddy, you're a genius!!!

1. Anyone who lives in the Ninth Judicial District cannot use US currency in the rest of the Nation because it violates the Establishment Clause.

2. Similary, we cannot use United States currency or script to "satisfy all debts, public and private," within those states, so when we travel there from the East, all goods and services become free.
