I find your post fascinating
because I was astrologer, I knew Easter was always first Sunday
after Full Moon after Vernal Equinox
what I found out later was 'bout the religious holidays
seems Passover is always celebrated on full Moon after Vernal Equinox
and since the Last Supper was a seder (Passover Feast)
the first Thursday after it is Holy Thursday, then Good Friday
then Easter Sunday

you know westy sent me a Passover card on email
(that's how I knew it was Full Moon)
the card showed the Seder table
(all the food set out on it)
I haven't been to a seder since I left home (we used to go to my aunt's house for it)
I looked at all the food set out on table in westy's card
and noticed the hard boiled egg there (still in its shell)
my aunt always used to have the hard boiled egg already sliced up in lil dish
the egg is there cause there's a point in the ritual where you dip the egg in salt water to remember the salty tears
from enslavement in Egypt
then I remembered the nut paste we ate after that
it is for the mortar between the bricks to build the pyramids
Suddenly I realized the seder is reenactment of the freeing of Jews in Egypt
I am so used to pictures being used to represent things
it never occurred to me that a meal would be used for it

Just a drive by posting for now...what a lively group you all are, especially that grannie, fishing with her binoculars, trolling for young muscular men...sounds heavenly....

Grannie, do you ever see manatees where you are at...I love thos manatees, they are so cute, look like sweet gentle souls...

Palo, you sure sound like you are having a time with your dishwasher, jury summons, wet paper towel roll, and a floor full of clothing and goodies...it will be exciting for you to get the carpet cleared, and see what all lays underneath...get the amazing Lulu to help you...she has a good nose, she will root out what interests her...

About jury duty....my husband got a summons about 6 months ago...he was anxious to serve, because he thought it would be nice to have some time off from work...

He had to list the meds he was taking...he is on a very mild anti-depressant, and has been for a few years...they rejected him on that ground...maybe they thought he was a wacko, and did not want him...

I would love to serve on a jury, but I have never been called, and I am also on a mild anti-depressant, and have been ever since my son died...So I dont suppose they would want me either...

Well, time to go and get the hubbys dinner ready, and send him off to work...c u later..

Just reporting on a most amazing view of the eaglecam...I clicked on there at about 2:35pm...one of the eagles was on the nest...then about 30 seconds later it took wing, and flew off...so I finally got to see what was in the nest...and view the two precious eggs...

So then I got anxious waiting for the other eagle to return...other eagle returned about 2 minutes later, and swooped down into the nest and began nesting duties

Amazing, and great fun...

A number of years ago I got jury duty..Nothing very exciting, just the State of WA taking an collection company to court for hard timing a bunch of dead beats..There were a bunch of charges and we didn't have to have unamimous decision on each. On a lot the vote was 11 to 1, with me the lone desenter..My thought was ' Pay your bills and you won't get harrassed'..lol..' If you can't afford it, don't buy it'..Just a mean old bastard..lol...Couldn't understand a lot of the people on that jury. But it was an interesting experience...I didn't make it to some other juries, maybe my criminal passed worked against me. Who knows...

turned out to be Dennis
he interviewed me on phone for one and a half hours
he's a very nice guy who lives in West Virginia
he said he wrote a few other books, one is about dropping the bomb
said his name is Dennis Weinstock
I had fun talking to him, but it sure halted my hanging up clothes

Well, I am glad Dennis got through to you at last...now you dont have to worry about it...I love interruptions, which interrupt me, when I am having to do some chore, I dont want to do...in fact, that is me right now...I am supposed to be decorating for Easter, but somehow dont have a feeling for it right now...so naturally, I am stalling around here on FR...I need to get busy, myself, and stop yakking so much...

I just love this eaglecam...I cant wait for the new babies to arrive...that will be really exciting...

Hi Palo.. my machine crapped out on me again... Looks like I may be buying a new hard drive... The worse thing is, I'm going to lose all my pics and everything because I have nothing to save everything on and I don't think I may have the time to do it..

Oh dear, I don't know what I may have to face here...but will call my sweet computer man again tomorrow morning and go from there... I will stay on as long as I can.. and hope for the best... The damned thing sounds like a pinball machine is inside it.. Scary...

If the drive is still operating he may be able to transfer everything to new drive before he installs it...Just a thought, I'm not positive about it..I wouldn't use puter anymore than I had to though....

I was an alternate on a jury a long time ago in Manhattan
I don't remember the case very well
just remember the cop comin' in to testify
the second case I was assigned to meant we'd have to be sequestered
I didn't want that
so I acted flighty during jury selection
and the DA disqualified me

Thank you Westy.. I'm just trying to get in touch with folks before I collapse again... The puter guy found nothing wrong with it today, but I did download a new virus protection, and he seems to think it may have really screwed me up... I got it uninstalled and am hoping that might be it..but we'll see.. I will call him first thing in the morning... Right now.. everything looks and feels completely normal.. but it may go any second.. I have been warned...
