Portable food carts are an accepted fact of life in many of our major cities, and even in some small towns. For years, in the Alaska town of Talkeetna, a regular fixture on that small touristy town's main drag was the halibut taco cart. The halibut were cooked using a propane tank under the cart — until the tank exploded, breaking windows and causing damage all up and down the street. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt. But if it's a halibut taco you want now in Talkeetna, you're out of luck.
Here's the thing: The Talkeetna halibut taco cart was legal. Now, back to the lower 48. Denver, Colorado, is a city that is beset with problems, not the least of which is Democrat governance. City officials piously pronounce Denver a "sanctuary" jurisdiction, and so their population of illegal aliens has grown almost continually for years now. Some of those illegal aliens, and to be fair, some in the city legally, have shown some enterprise. Denver's Lower Downtown (LoDo) area is a typically gentrified urban district, with restaurants, bars, and shopping.
LoDo also, it seems, has a lot of unlicensed, uninspected food carts. This seems a lot like a public health crisis in the making.

They let illegals get away with uninspected gas hotdog cooking but Denver residents can’t use gas stoves. Not allowed in the peoples republic of Denver

They can turn the dish on its side to use as a wok and add stir fry to the menu.
Indeed
Hide that before someone comes up with a plan for a heater for the homeless.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Reminds me some 30 years ago I was exiting the main railway station in Budapest and saw a food cart with a sign that said Amerikai Virsli which basically means American Hot Dogs. For some reason I found it funny and incongruous although I knew it was for the tourist trade.
Just no thanks
I don't think the headline means what they think it means.

I bought a hot dog off a cart in a somewhat remote part of France, it did sort of resemble what a hot dog looks like, but being cart food it was plenty eatable, as street food usually is.
The Democrat mantra…..
“We want poverty for everyone else but us!”
No more hot food at restaurants. Cold food only.
Much safer.
You are welcome, or not: The govt will protect you from all possible hazards.
Except conscription.
“how our civilization is declining”

Bring back rickshaws and sedan chairs...
