Washington’s beautiful Reflecting Pool, which was badly damaged by Vandals despite the ridiculous writings of some Radical Left person in the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office who got it wrong and obviously didn’t investigate, witness, or see the attached tape, or the very inspiring Jesse Watters show which explained it all, or didn’t inspect the vast area of cut and slashed pool surface, or the grass that was scarred by poison with the numbers “86 47” massively inscribed in font 90 feet tall and encompassing the width of the entire Park (which grass has been fully replaced with new grass), is now, after repair, 70% filled with water and looking good. Interestingly, the Reflecting Pool has not worked properly since it was built in 1922 — It always leaked! This will be different, but any Vandals that try to prove the point otherwise, will GO TO JAIL! We are watching very closely, and security cameras have been installed. Reports are that it’s looking beautiful, and will only get better, subject to NO VANDALISM, with time. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

This is why the MSM account never made sense. How can you explain these massive, precision cut gashes except to say the pool was vandalized?
It shouldn’t be up to the President to tell us the facts about stuff when there’s thousands of people paid to specifically do that - the media journalists/reporters.

I think most people are going based on what the installer has publicly said themselves. They screwed up.
According to the New York Times, citing the documents, Atlantic Industrial Coatings found problems in the design and execution of the renovation.
Workers did not spray enough primer in some areas, the contractor said in the cited documents, and layers of the liner included incompatible chemicals. The bottom layer blistered and loosened as the chemical on top reached a hotter temperature than the one underneath could withstand, the New York Times said.
I thought the contractor came out and admitted that they screwed it up, but maybe that was fake news too. Who can tell what’s real these days?

Then there’s the addition of about 80 fence post tops thrown into the pool.

They did. They said it failed in 85 places due to incompatible chemicals, insufficient application. Filling the pool too soon before it had set.
And that’s from the people who were paid to install it but.... here we are.
Because the media didn't bother to inspect this damage.
I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, but I’ve never seen evidence of massive, precision-cut gashes, much less a vast area of them. What I have seen is photos of peeling, tearing, and bubbling dispersed in a couple dozen places throughout the pool bottom, but none of those instances appears to be more than a foot or two long.
If the media didn’t, then the administration should have. Did they? Because I haven’t seen it.

Reflecting upon the Reflecting Pool Crisis, I would not dismiss it as merely a political issue that does not hold water.
The Department of Justice needs to get to the bottom of the Reflecting Pool vandalism and build its case so thoroughly that you could drive the presidential limousine across it.
