Look out, Linus and Charlie Brown!

The great pumpkin is on the loose this October.

An Uber driver captured video Sunday of a giant, inflatable fruit rolling down the road in Cary, North Carolina, with at least one man trying to squash the escape in its tracks.

I am surprised the ultra lefty Cary morons would let you have decorations in your yard.

One need not be leftist to abjure inflatable “decorations”. I utterly despise the things. They looks like garbage strewn across the lawns when deflated during the day, and tasteless and garish in their fullness.

Wow. Feel that strongly? I busy my mind with more weighty things, like how the period should be before the quotation mark in your post, not after.

Jk. Different strokes for different folks

I was more amused about how the Uber driver was afraid a harmless balloon was going to “damage his car.”

Periods are the preferred punctuation for closing aphorisms, since you feel so strongly. How you busy yourself, with stroking and all, is your business.

Did You Know

“IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN”
PREMIERED ON CBS 60 YEARS AGO THIS COMING
OCTOBER 27.
VIEWERS WERE SO UPSET THAT CHARLIE GOT NO CANDY,
THEY SENT BAGS TO THE STUDIO

Yep. I probably watched the premier showing of It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Unfortunately, it was on a black and white t.v.

Nice.

I still kick myself for not buying a complete set of The Prisoner on DVDs before Christmas some years ago at Costco.

I know this is going to shock you both but I did buy the set :p

Good news is streaming is here and there; found them on YouTube and Pluto (https://pluto.tv/us/shows/the-prisoner-the-complete-series/season/1/) without difficulty.

I don't own the DVD or Bluray set but the entire Prisoner series is available on Amazon Prime and for free on Youtube and Tubi. I have watched all episodes many times. I do own "The Official Prisoner Companion" book.
