Aman died Monday at Six Flags Over Georgia, according to police and witnesses.
Georgia's Cobb County police said several other people were injured in the incident.
A witness told local TV station WXIA an image of the man falling was captured on his souvenir picture taken while on the Goliath ride, which the Six Flags website says can reach speeds of 70 mph.
Six Flags officials said in a statement they were "deeply saddened by the guest incident," and that park workers and local authorities responded immediately.
Reason # 6,000 I do not get on roller coasters.
“Guest incident,” is that what we call tragic accidents now.
Why wasn’t he strapped into his seat?
I’m TOO OLD FOR THAT STUFF NOW!...................
One does not simply fall off of a roller coaster ride. Me thinks he was doing something stupid.

I can recall people standing up on roller coasters. I doubt they can still get away with now.
My Mother always told us how she would stand up on The Cyclone in Coney Island back when she was a teenager in the 1930’s.
Looks like he may have been too big for the bar to fully close. That’s still on the staff, but he should have known better when the ride didn’t click

I, and all members of my family, have ridden that coaster several times. No idea what this particular guy did to to be released from his seat and restraints.
Catching air becomes fatal
Been awhile since I’ve ridden a roller coaster but even back then the seats would clamp you in pretty snug , sort of a clam shell that lowers into place as I recall, never felt as though I’d fall out .
The old style with a bar that would clamp down across your thighs and they’d throw a locking pin in to keep it in place . Those were a bit sketchier although that bar was pretty tight across your legs. Never felt as though I’d fall out .
No matter how good the technology in a roller-coaster, remember they are being operated by teenagers and 20-somethings being paid close to minimum wage. If you ride one, take the safety restraints seriously and don’t act like an idiot.
When I was a kid at the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, I rode on whatever the roller-coaster was at the time that went straight down. It had a bar to hold you in but my bar wasn't locked and flew up as we went down. Luckily, gravity held me in and when we went back up, I pulled it closed and it locked. But the ride attendants who made sure you were in securely weren't exactly rocket scientists so I can see how this could happen.
There should be a cautionary sign there———limiting riders to a certain weight.
And if the attendant could not strap the guy in, he should
have told him it was too dangerous to ride without restraints.

I have heard of cases where attendants are so
blase they dont even come around to lock you in.

And then the park gets sued for something the woke calls “fat shaming” or whatever they call it this week.
And you know there’s half a dozen ambulance chasing lawyers out there more than willing to negotiate an out of court settlement.
Nobody else fell out. Probably didn’t strap in. Might as well have jumped in tiger yard. Darwin.
