Days after President Trump asks Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to halt attacks on Russian oil refineries, Zelenskyy takes the attacks up a notch and brags about all of the different NATO country missile systems being used to attack Russian oil refineries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X, “One of Russia’s key oil industry facilities and the aggressor’s logistics facility were hit. These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine. The systems used included FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palianytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican.”

After weeks of various European/NATO countries hyping pending attacks from Russia, Zelenskyy now begins to name the missile systems being provided by those countries to target Russia. Zelenskyy and the EU-NATO group are intentionally trying to draw a Russian military response against the support the European countries are providing to Ukraine.
Zelenskyy is naming the missile systems as part of that antagonistic effort, and his NATO allies do it on the last day of the Russian elections. Specifically timed and coordinated for maximum propaganda use.
President Trump, or someone inside the U.S. administration needs to make a very public statement highlighting that everyone can see the organized effort for what it is. EU-NATO wants an expanded conflict with Russia, beyond the confines of the non-NATO Ukraine conflict.
Bloomberg reports that the Gazprom Neft-owned Moscow Oil Refinery, about 16 miles from the Kremlin, was struck by drones. The facility has a processing capacity of around 245,000 barrels a day and supplies fuel to the surrounding metro area.
Simultaneous with this increased provocation, the Ukrainian president announced plans for meeting with President Donald Trump in New York.
Zelenskyy feels emboldened by his relationships to his “NATO partners”, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
This is not going to end well unless someone steps on Zelenskyy to bring him back to reality.

Instead Trump has American troops in Ukraine to learn from Ukraine as Ukraine forces train with American troops in NATO exercises and Trump is bringing their expertise over here to spread their knowledge and build some factories.

Ukrainians Embed With US Forces During Drills in Germany to Teach the Latest in Drone Warfare
“The annual American exercises, held in the Bavarian foothills over the past several weeks, demonstrate how close the relationship has become between U.S. and Ukrainian forces”
“During the Army exercises, Tillis said late last month that the Ukrainians “are embedded with them, they’ll help advise, assist and then help them employ” the technology.”

I'm certain most of Iran's attacks on US forces are using Russian supplied or engineered components as well.
So unless you would like to hold Russia to the same standard regarding Iran, this is all just Russian propaganda.
As you know Putin refused Trump’s offer to stop hitting Ukrainian energy-infrastructure and actually doubled-down on attacking Ukraine.
Thus, Ukraine responded accordingly.
The Kremlin is crying now. They just had to follow Trump’s idea. But they refused. Sad.

There’s one crucial difference in your analysis. Russia never went within 1,000 miles of saying they wouldn’t supply Iran. But NATO has said, repeatedly, they will not engage with Russia militarily and they won’t allow their equipment to be used to attack Russia.
I’m not saying that mean there’s anything wrong with any particular bombing. I am saying NATO is being hypocritical and Russia is not.
Some of this is surely propaganda, but I would suggest more of it is just being vested in their earlier arguments/debates.
If Russia attacks Ukraine and 4 and half years later they still have not met their objectives, it doesn’t matter, they are still winning. If the US strikes Iran, and 6 months later have not met their objectives, it is proof Iran is winning. Why is that bar so much higher for the US?
I don’t recall anyone saying the weaponry couldn’t be used to strike Russia, but various NATO countries (including the US) have refused to supply long-range weapons.
There is a reason that Ukraine is training American forces and other NATO forces and countries in the Middle East.

Indeed, a “WIN” only comes when the initial objective is met.
As I see it neither Russia or America have met their war objectives yet.

Goalpost shifting — changing the target after failing to meet the original one, especially to make the failure look like success. This is usually very critical/negative.
I don’t think America has changed its goalpost in its war against Iran.
It continues to fight to get a win in the end. It’s ongoing.
However, RUSSIA has drastically changed its goalpost!
It intended in the beginning to take ALL of Ukraine by a massive ground attack against Kiev, but miserably failed and had to retreat. Ukraine managed to take back 50% of what Russia originally stole in Ukraine.
And now, Russia officially says they just want Donbas in Ukraine... that’s a far cry to what they wanted in the beginning.
Thus, we can say that Russia is loosing. When you start to change goalposts as they did, it’s a very clear sign of failure.
So Russia is soloing Clown World and holding their own.
Communist China is training the Russian troops, the North Korean Army is fighting alongside them in Europe, and Iran helps them while Chechnya supplies Muslim troops.
Little Ukraine fights alone against Russia and North Korea with only material aid from outside, but no other armies.
But Ukraine took the bribe and deserve exactly what they are getting.
You are wrong, Trump isn’t globohomo, to use your child’s term.
