AOC, lefty ‘Squad’ pal stir up panic over ‘modern-day lynchings’ — despite most recent hangings being ruled suicides (only 4.38 years left)

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a “Squad” buddy whipped up a panic Thursday demanding the feds to probe “a national crisis” involving a string of “modern-day lynchings” of blacks — even though all available evidence does not point to racial animus in the tragic deaths.

The far-left New York City Dem joined US Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and other Democrats in firing off a letter to US Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday urging them “to fully investigate suspicious deaths and hold individuals accountable,” citing “10 reported hangings of Black people” so far in 2026.

“We are extremely alarmed by reports of Black people found hanging from trees in numerous states throughout our country,” the letter said. “The series of deaths raise significant suspicion of foul play given the role of lynching in our nation’s history.

“Therefore, we write to urgently demand a thorough, transparent, and comprehensive federal investigation into every hanging death of a Black individual across the United States.”

AOC and Pressley were quick to post the letter on X — where the missive was immediately hit with fact-checks from users showing most of the 10 fatalities were ruled suicides by medical examiners or law enforcement.

AOC’s press office fired back to The Post, ” At a minimum, each investigation, with permission of the decedents’ families, should include an independent autopsy, an audit of local and state law enforcement investigations, review of physical and testimonial evidence, and a final report submitted to Congress explaining the agency’s findings.”

The letter also called for “robust data collection” aiming to track the hanging deaths of black people in a “transparent and systematic manner.”

Meanwhile, white people are stabbed to death by blacks at track meets or while riding on a train or sitting on a park bench or just walking down a street and, meh.

Given how hard it is to remove rotten Federal Judges I’M surprised there is not more of this kind of frontier justice.

Well, DeSantis just tossed in with his nasty, expected, predictable criticism of President Trump and on 9/11

You’ve got JD inching in

Rubio looking pretty good

Then there’s Bobby K, stating 9/11 was due to Islam. Oooh. Bold. You go. And Trump team was fine with it

AOC has to look at facing that

Not tot mention possibly DT throwing in

She’s on a roll with racism à la slavery circa 1850, ignoring the civil war and the 13th amendment, pretending to talk Old Testament twirling her foot around on the stage looking like a teeen hoping to make it in middle school this year

How can we be worried about these numbskulls?

Oh. GOP want them in charge

I haven’t lynched a black person recently. Or Ever.

No one in my family has ever hanged a black person.

My dad got the pudding beat out of him back in the 60s when he shared a lunch counter with a black fella in Atlanta. Four white guys beat him up. Because he had the audacity to sit next to a black guy. The black guy didn’t want to get involved. Dad wasn’t a great person but at least he stood up against racists back when.

The black feller knew that if the cops showed up he would be in the cooler in the Fulton County jail with a nightstick shampoo. Can’t blame him.

If congresswoman Sandy Ortiz can provide any data on the wave of lynchings across America, then I will listen. That’s reasonable, isn’t it?

WOKE ignoramuses suffer under the delusion (one among many) that lynching was unique to the black experience in America.

This is La Pendaison (The Hanging), drawn in 1633 by Jacques Callot. The bodies depicted hanging in the tree had been Callot's neighbors in (what had been) the independent Duchy of Lorraine who were ordered murdered by Cardinal Richelieu during the 30 Years War for resisting France's efforts to annex their little duchy.

This is the historical origin of "strange fruit" so, NO, blacks don't own the existential angst of lynchings.

But yes, Lorraine is where the quiche came from.

Is a black person killing themselves considered “black on black” crime?

I wanna know how Nolan Wells’ friends were able to get around the country so easily hanging blacks before finally hanging him on Horn Island.

“AOC’s bucky beaver teeth should be able to gnaw thru any rope.”

Ya. I’m thinking any rope. Beaver teeth. The crazed, all-white-around-the-iris eyes show a particular auto take on a cause and chew through those ropes

Have they talked about the 5-10 blacks killed each weekend by other blacks in every big blue city every weekend ever?

“In one horrifying case, a young African-American woman was found hanging from a tree outside an abandoned house in Jackson, Miss., and her death was indeed ruled a murder.

A CNN report several days ago related the heightened scrutiny around the crime given “Mississippi’s long history of racial violence involving hangings.”

The police have now arrested a 51-year-old suspect and charged him with murder.

But he doesn’t advance the Pressley letter’s narrative — since he, too, is African-American. “

As if white people never got lynched?

Leo Frank, 1913, ring a bell?

Or the 1891 lynchings of 11 Italian men in New Orleans?

Or how about the 1963 murders of Chaney, Goodman and Schwerner in Neshoba County, MS? Two whites, one black (Chaney)

Lynchings have been with us for a few centuries at least, and the race of the victims are merely incidental, as are the means of the summary executions. Dragging a man to death behind a car, or beating him to death, is no less heinous, probably more heinous, than a hanging. So AOC should STFU and stop shopping around for things to get morally outraged about.
