Those who adhere to a strict "don't speak ill of the recently deceased" protocol will want to sit this one out, because your boy here is gonna unload.
One of the most execrable figures to emerge from the counterculture movement of the 1960s has passed away. Feminist icon Gloria Steinem died on Wednesday at the age of 92.
There is no denying that Steinem was a powerful force in American culture and that her legacy will live on. The perspective on whether any of that is good or bad exists on either side of a very wide ideological divide. The most benign thing that I can say about Steinem is that no one who knows her story is ambivalent about it.
She was, of course, lionized by godless, secular leftists. To them, Steinem embodies all that they perceive to be good about feminism. Abortion ghouls will forever be singing her praises. She is seen as an enduring symbol of feminine empowerment, a woman who inspired others to knock down barriers and shatter glass ceilings. Superwoman Steinem was also the voice of eternal dissatisfaction for women. (snip)
In the end, Gloria Steinem's sick legacy is all about abortion. When I was checking out the reports of her death, one of the first things I saw was a photograph of her with a huge smile while wearing a shirt that said "I Had an Abortion." It's quite a leap from the Dems' old line about supporting abortion that's "safe, legal, and rare" to "Hey, let's get infanticide shirts made!"
Gloria Steinem taught generations of young women to believe that abortion was an accomplishment. That lunacy holds them back more than any man ever will.

That about says it all.
Feminism was never about women...it was merely a conduit for cultural marxism. Good to see it die with old Gloria...women will be much better off...millions of babies too.

Gloria Steinem taught generations of young women that abortion was an accomplishment. Steinem’s sick legacy is all about abortion....... a photograph of her with a huge smile wearing a shirt reading, “I Had an Abortion” is quite a leap from the Dems’ old line about supporting abortion that’s “safe, legal, and rare” to “Hey, let’s get infanticide shirts made!”
The same can be said of Adolph Hitler, Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Idi Amin Dada, Pol Pot ...
And the abortion revolution she helped unleash definitely puts her in that category.
And now women celebrate a woman who killed her three children.
Lindsay Clancy has become a feminist hero for slaughtering her three children....... Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.........she’s attracted hundreds of female admirers, who stand petulantly outside the courthouse in pink T-shirts, demanding her acquittal.
Steinem was a psychopath, pure and simple. Something about her gave me the creeps; although physically attractive she seemed to have an evilness about her.
Think Jesse Jackson and his attraction to cameras. Gloria wasn’t that way. She knew she was off putting and didn’t market herself or do shakedowns.
She wasn’t good-looking enough to have Kirsty Alley play her.
A phony non pareil.

The ONE person who could tell the difference between a man and a woman.
Did her DNA disappear with her?
Darwin wants to know.
> Those who adhere to a strict “don’t speak ill of the recently deceased” protocol will want to sit this one out,
That’s ok. I’ll sit here quietly enjoying the comments.
She has 75 million dead babies as her legacy.
Logical step, isn’t it?
God help us.
She was weird and sadly, got plenty of press. Susan Faludi is another lady who cannot focus on anything but women’s topics and pretend that women’s topics are interesting. Meanwhile, the Blessed Virgin Mary continues to do what she had done daily for two thousand years: heal blind people, save marriages, protect sailors, and assist those stuck in addictions.
