Two-thirds of Americans believe the war in Iran has not been worth fighting.
A new AP-NORC poll found that roughly two-thirds of U.S. adults say the war that began Feb. 28 is not worthwhile. The sentiment is shared by the vast majority of Democrats (87%) and independents (68%), as well as 37% of Republicans.
The AP-NORC poll, conducted July 23-27, surveyed 1,165 adults and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Yeah, you'll focus on the trivial aspect of what I said at the expense of the core issue.
I think my brother in law used to call this "A nickel holding up a dollar."
Older adage is "Penny wise and dollar foolish."
Even if Iran never fires a nuke, the leverage they gain from location and having the threat available is enormous. Anyone who thinks that is acceptable needs to go participate in an Iranian water protest.
Then there is also the entire problem of a nuclear arms race in the ME, which MBS has guaranteed from the Saudi side of it, should Iran get nukes. There’s no chance in hell that doesn’t end up very badly, and I don’t just mean for the immediate countries involved.
At least till I finish my move
Because mls
(My life sucks)
I am a mechanic reloacting is business and family 850 miles away.
Aint no one but me paying for the fuel
It’s not a story I’ve read up on. Sorry.
That bothers you? I believe I have an idea about President Trump, regardless of that story.

If the ignorant folk on this site are not frightened of Iran dropping nukes on us, I don't think pointing out that it causes even more massive threats in the region will sway them.
But you are right. We get all sorts of bad consequences for allowing Iranian Mullahs to have a nuke. I'm just pointing out the worst one, but the bad consequences you mentioned will also happen.
Thank God we have an adult in charge instead of bratty little children!
Being popular by making promises you cant keep may get you a stint as a mayor but takes a little more to be President. I mean Trump has won three times and half the country hates him with a white hot passion.
Establishment of a Multinational Maritime Defense Coalition. It is a joint statement by 14 countries:

Time to come home from Everywhere. Have our own Iron Dome 🇺🇲📡 here in the United States.

No, the only thing bothersome is all of the anti-Trump propaganda being spewed here. It gets really old.
After eight years of the Obamanation and four years of the Drooling Pedo Joe... you’d think everyone here that’s ‘supposedly’ on the right would be gleeful that it’s Trump in the WH and not another damned leftist Democrat.
Leftist propaganda being posted by all of the libtards on X.
Nice going.
New Jersey?
Seriously?
What a joke.
Even New York’s fed workers want to quit before moving there.
Agree...A choke hold on 20% of the world's oil supply at the Strait of Hormuz coupled with a capability to disrupt the entire region are greatly intensified with membership in the nuke club.
This, when taken with the prospect of atomic weapons in the hands of a horde of zealots with visions of a returning "Hidden Imam" who will eventually appear and mete out justice to nonbelievers, is intolerable.
Again, Trump never said during his first term that the United States is at war with Iraq. Only one munition was fired on Iran by the United States during Trump’s first term. That is not prosecuting a war by any measure. Attacking Iran’s proxies is not a war against Iran. Example, China, Russia, and the United States have engaged in a number proxy wars against each other with actually engaging in direct attacks against the aforesaid countries. See, Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan etc.
So, your OK with Iran getting nukes and having complete control of the Strait of Hormuz, and you feel quite comfortable with Trump running up the white flag and getting completely out of the middle east. Yes?
I do recall Netanyahu saying that. So what has changed? Why attack Iran now?
Iran has been waging war against us for 47 years. You’re a neophyte youngster.
HA HA HA HA HA HA
Your incomplete sentence does not negate my complete one.
