Even if Iran never fires a nuke, the leverage they gain from location and having the threat available is enormous. Anyone who thinks that is acceptable needs to go participate in an Iranian water protest.

Then there is also the entire problem of a nuclear arms race in the ME, which MBS has guaranteed from the Saudi side of it, should Iran get nukes. There’s no chance in hell that doesn’t end up very badly, and I don’t just mean for the immediate countries involved.

If the ignorant folk on this site are not frightened of Iran dropping nukes on us, I don't think pointing out that it causes even more massive threats in the region will sway them.

But you are right. We get all sorts of bad consequences for allowing Iranian Mullahs to have a nuke. I'm just pointing out the worst one, but the bad consequences you mentioned will also happen.

Thank God we have an adult in charge instead of bratty little children!

Agree...A choke hold on 20% of the world's oil supply at the Strait of Hormuz coupled with a capability to disrupt the entire region are greatly intensified with membership in the nuke club.

This, when taken with the prospect of atomic weapons in the hands of a horde of zealots with visions of a returning "Hidden Imam" who will eventually appear and mete out justice to nonbelievers, is intolerable.
