Two-thirds of Americans believe the war in Iran has not been worth fighting.
A new AP-NORC poll found that roughly two-thirds of U.S. adults say the war that began Feb. 28 is not worthwhile. The sentiment is shared by the vast majority of Democrats (87%) and independents (68%), as well as 37% of Republicans.
The AP-NORC poll, conducted July 23-27, surveyed 1,165 adults and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Like we are supposed to believe some site called: NJ.com. man, they are desperate all so the Demonrat party can gain control over you again. They will mislead you so shun the leftist medias.
It did not need to be done when he did it. It was rushed for the wrong reasons and that is why the mess of the SOH and the attacks on surrounding countries has created a situation that has actually made things worse.
The nuke program, according to Trump himself, was obliterated in 2025. No way did they repair all that damage in less than a year.
All the excuses and tired old cliches that get thrown around by the neocons types are just excuses to cover for why we got into this mess. How anyone could think that after 4 years of Biden and the democrats that this country was actually prepared to take on a huge country with over 90 million people, mostly radicals, who have spent years prepping for us to come in there is unbelievable.
Absolutely no time was spent trying to prepare Americans for a major conflict. In fact, it was treated like another in and out, two weeks and we are done, operation.
Trump campaigned, and was elected to be the guy to keep us out of stupid middle east conflicts. How many times did he flame other Presidents for engaging in the middle east debacles? No surprise that over 60% of the people aren’t liking this.

The problem is it is difficult to see at this point what the end game will be.

And that’s because there’s evidently no Plan C.
Plan A: Bomb Iran until the mullahs give up all their nuclear material.
Plan B: Encourage a popular uprising within Iran.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring? But as of today, it looks like both of the above plans are not working. And furthermore, will not work.

The CCCP built its first bomb in about four years, with some stolen plans. The difficult and costly part is U-235 separation.
The US had a population of about 140 million at the time. Iran has about 90 million people now.
Iran probably only first had enough uranium for a bomb about 20 years ago.
Being able to build one bomb isn’t enough. Iran would have to have another to avoid retaliation.

The Iranians wish to avoid immediate Israeli nuclear annihilation. They put the U-235 in tunnels and blew up the tunnel entrances to make it clear to Israelis that Iran doesn’t need to be annihilated by midnight.

Probably sooner than that when Iran would not play ball as a transit route to Russia in WWII. Iran has been a meddling cock-up ever since. Carter thought the clerics would be better than the Shah’s perceived human rights abuses.
