A Pentagon official has been placed on leave after he was filmed bashing President Donald Trump and promising he would "stay" until Trump leaves office so he can "undo whatever's been done."
A report from Newsweek identified the man as Brandon Newsom, a senior official in the office of the Secretary of the Navy. He was filmed by reporter James O'Keefe, of O'Keefe Media Group, who conducts undercover investigations and interviews.
"In the footage, Newsom can be heard saying that he wanted to 'stay and stick it out' at the Pentagon, adding: 'So that way, when the time comes, I can undo whatever's been done [by the Trump administration],'" the report said.
He said his job has challenged his "morals" and confirms he would not allow "one specific prayer service."
He lashed out at Trump as a "textbook narcissist" and said the president's campaign in Iran, to make certain the rogue Islamic regime doesn't obtain nuclear weapons, was "completely stupid."
The suspension from his job was confirmed by acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao.
"The Department of the Navy takes the conduct shown in this video extremely seriously. Such statements and apparent intent to leverage a position to undermine the policies and direction set by our elected leaders are inappropriate and incompatible with the standards expected of Department personnel…”

If the Iran war causes the GOP to lose the midterms and then the disgruntled and lazy Americans vote in the next election to give socialism a try, then Pentagon types will be the ones sending out US troops to fight against patriots in our civil war. Would be ironic if some troops refuse orders inspired by Slotkin, Kelly and the other traitor group.
I wonder how James O’Keefe gets ANYBODY to open up on tape. It’s not like his mug is unknown. He must have a magical way to earn trust and confidence with the idiots out there.

No kidding. My first thought, too. It’s always an initial slap on the wrist for people like this, then you never hear the ultimate outcome. Drawn and Quartered or Keelhauled would be my preferred finish.
I was a contractor supporting DOD efforts for years. Everyone knew that politics were off limits. No one cared about your opinions about Clinton, or Bush, or Obama, or Biden. Very bad form to speak out against the Commander-in-Chief. The office deserves respect, and you don’t bring your own personal politics into work. This was universally acknowledged.
Oh, by the way — when Donald Trump was elected in 2016, a WHOLE BUNCH of civil servants made it very clear that they hated that guy with a passion — lots of insults — and they would do anything they could to get him thrown out of office. There was never any discussion of “Hey, let’s watch our language” or anything like that. Trump was the exception. Trump was fair game. Everyone seemed to be on the same page.

Good first step.
But this is not enough.
Career bureaucrats who admit they plan to undermine the elected President and Secretary don't get to keep collecting taxpayer paychecks while plotting their comeback.

Strip any undue benefits, revoke clearances if warranted, and send a clear message:
the deep state resistance era is over.
No more saboteurs in uniform or suits.
He seems to be pretty good at getting the gays to open up to him! Gays bragging. I’m guessing he has a pretty good method of operation. Also known as alcohol.
