WWII was a fully declared war by Congress, and FDR ordered the entire nation mobilized to address the threats.

Every asset the US had was directed to fighting the Axis powers.

Today, we don’t have any declaration of war, the president still hasn’t briefed Congress or us on the details of why he chose now to attack, and it would sure be nice to know what the measurable and achievable mission goals are.

Fair, except back then we didn’t have a Congress (and particularly a Democrat party) populated with so many definitive anti-American members. We didn’t have Communists / Marxists (at least not overtly), and didn’t have ‘the Squad’.

We’ve been infiltrated (doubt that at you own risk), and it’s no longer a matter of everyone in public office having the central goal of promoting the US - with disagreements only about the best ways to do that. We now absolutely have members of Congress who fundamentally despise the America we love.
