U.S. Must Prepare for War With Russia, Says Intel-linked Globalist
The New American ^ | 07/03/2026 | Paul Dragu

While news reports have focused on the Middle East for most of 2026, the war in Ukraine has intensified and its potential for continental spillover increased. Also, there is evidence suggesting the globalists are fomenting escalation. Writers for the Council on Foreign Relations say that America should prepare to join Central and Western Europe in an eventual war against Russia. A Russian spokesperson recently appeared on a popular American podcast saying that, at this rate, the conflict is indeed heading toward another world war.

State-controlled Russian media reported on Friday that a Ukrainian drone attack killed five Russian civilians and injured another 18. These are the latest casualties resulting from weeks of intense strike exchanges between the Russians and Ukrainians. The day before, Russia hit Ukraine’s capital, reportedly killing 27 and injuring dozens of other civilians.

Ukraine has, by all accounts, ratcheted up the pressure on Russia with effective attacks inside the Motherland that have disrupted energy flow, flights, and civilian life in general. The point of the attacks, Ukraine’s leaders have said, is to bring the consequences of the war to the Russian people with the larger goal of making Russia more amenable during negotiations…

Currently, China is the bigger threat to the USA

How much of our debt do they own? How much of their economy is reliant on their exports to the US? How much of their food stuff is imported from the US and our allies?

China has nothing to gain from threatening the US, let alone attacking us.

"Peace Dividend" 1992-today, reduced military spending to 3.5% of GDP on average, including the War on Terror

There is a bigger issue on the near horizon that will impact the budget more than the Peace Dividend.

The all consuming interest on the national debt. Every year our budget deficit requires more and more borrowing. Every year recently fewer and fewer countries are willing to buy US securities. Recently the cost of borrowing has risen for the US.

Default is looking more likely all the time. Hyper inflation is certainly a possibility.

Every country that has ever used fiat currency eventually fails.

“Every year recently fewer and fewer countries are willing to buy US securities. “

The trend for less foreign buyers of U.S. debt is not catastrophic. It grew higher to 49% in 2011 and has trended downward closer to what it was in 2002 - about 34%. A strong dollar is one of the reasons - when the yen is worth fewer dollars, the Japanese buy fewer U.S. treasuries, because they become more expensive; same for other countries in a similar situation.

But yes, regardless, the interest on the federal debt is really the biggest current fiscal problem the federal government has at the moment, but as grave as that issue is, the pending deficit of Social Security could make Social Security alone insolvent before anything else.

Where I disagree with Trump’s econ people is that we can produce enough GDP growth, that will produce more federal tax revenue, such that “we can grow our way out of debt”. Feasible if the size of the debt can be offset by a set continuing annual increase in GDP. I think we cannot get to GDP growth to make the theory work in reality.

I agree with you.

We could never grow revenue faster than the government can spend it.

Inflation is reducing the value of the debt and of the interest paid.

Currency devaluation has been the way rulers reduce debt since the beginning of time. The technique is taught to all princes in their econ 101 class while learning to be King

Hundreds of drunks with Dragunovs on donkeys are going to charge over the Arctic seacap once it freezes over this October. So cute the way their little legs make the riders bounce around holding on for dear life like that - especially when they’re inebriated.

None of those people matter, not even a little.

I'm here to defend the people who do matter -- our elected presidents like Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, JQ Adams, Andrew Jackson, Polk, Lincoln, Grant, McKinnley, Teddy Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan & Trump.
We could add a Democrat or two -- Cleveland, maybe Truman, a bit of FDR.
All the others: not so much.

Some of those were wartime presidents, others were peacetime presidents, some brought peace out of war.

Ronald Reagan won the Cold War without firing a shot.

That's what Peace Through Strength is all about.

If you're calling those men "war pigs", that only makes you a mindless raging lunatic worthy of no consideration. FRiend.

So, who are you really calling a "war pig"?

The Russians have 6000+ nukes, including suitcase 🧳 nukes. They don’t need to fight and win conventionally if they could take out our early warning capability, then hit us first, before we can respond. Open borders since 2008 undoubtedly helped enemy agents get stuff across the border that shouldn’t be here. Moving NATO Eastwards may prove to be the most disastrous thing America has ever done.

“Inflation is reducing the value of the debt and of the interest paid.”

No it is not. The growth of new debt particularly since Biden is debt growth, and interest, growing faster than inflation, and now inflation is cooling; and the new Fed Chair is intent on keeping inflation down.

And don’t confuse what inflation may do tot the purchasing value of the dollar, which is not the same as the market-value of the dollar, as against other currencies, and that “value of the dollar” is up currently.

“None of those people matter, not even a little.”
Ridiculous, even stupid.

Trump has very good domestic instincts and has done great things regarding AmericaFirst and Make America Great Again: primarily immigration, rollback of the antiAmerican deepState, and even some reversal of the Dem/leftist/communist destruction of this nation, all while being relentlessly opposed/persecuted by our mostly corrupt judiciary. He is a Great president in that way. However unlike your presidential examples, he does govern in an imperious autocratic manner, some would say an arrogant or narcissistic manner. This is the new custom of governance in this century.
As far as foreign affairs, his acumen can only be described as average at best. In that regard he does rely heavily on the opinions of those around him (though I’ll admit PDJT does what PDJT wants to do). It has been noted many times that his decisions appear to be mostly reliant on the influence of the last person to talk to him. Hence his undeniable ire at Bibi for getting us into this reckless untenable war. It is not TDS to notice this, it is intellectual honestly.

Pontiac: "There is a bigger issue on the near horizon that will impact the budget more than the Peace Dividend.
The all consuming interest on the national debt.

I understand that and agree, up to a point, but consider:

  1. For starters, let's remember, every government in history eventually failed.
  2. No great nation/republic/empire ever lasted forever.
  3. On average, large empires last around 300 years, though a few last much longer while others are relative flashes in the pan.
  4. Governments come & go -- when they fail & bankrupt their countries they get overthrown by revolution or invasion.
  5. That's why many truly ancient civilizations have very recent governments -- China comes to mind: thousands of years old, but governed by the CCP only since 1948.
In that sense, the US is already one of the world's oldest governments.
The list of current governments older than the US is quite short:
  1. San Marino (in Italy) since 301 AD
  2. Iceland's Althing parliament since 930 AD
  3. England/Britain's parliamentary-monarchical system since 1689
  4. USA since 1776.
The UK's empire is particularly instructive:

World of Empires, circa 1900:

Here's the current problem: Bottom line: "Marginal improvement" might be enough but:

100%+ national debt/GDP ratios -- like the US, UK and several other major economies now carry -- are 100% manageable and reducible, if and only if:

For starters.

In short: US national debt is manageable & reducible, so long as the economy does well.

2% inflation, low unemployment and high labor participation rates become normal. For starters.

I am not sure that high labor participation rates are likely.

This past week's Supreme Court Ruling blessing birth right citizenship makes it difficult to achieve.

Unless we can seal the borders long term we will have a flood of illegal aliens coming here to give birth and collect welfare.

The USSC has given us the curse that will just keep giving for a generation or more.

The Democrats will most likely achieve their goal of single party rule. They will also achieve their goal of economic equity. Equity of poverty.

A strike: "However unlike your presidential examples, he does govern in an imperious autocratic manner, some would say an arrogant or narcissistic manner.
This is the new custom of governance in this century."

All that kind of talk is just Democrat propaganda, nothing else.
The truth is that after 4 years (2017-2020), and out of office 4 years, Trump 47 knows exactly what he wants to do and who he wants to do it.
His appointees are all:

  1. Loyal
  2. Capable
  3. Super intelligent
  4. Dedicated to Trump's vision of Make America Great and Put Americans First
  5. Committed to anti-corruption and elimination of waste, fraud & abuse in government.
  6. Devoted to constitutional processes and rooting out past government criminal activities.
None of that has anything to do with your allegations of an "arrogant or narcissistic manner".

A strike: "As far as foreign affairs, his acumen can only be described as average at best."

Such claims come from idiots with room-temperature IQs.
Coming from them, the word "average" means "genius", which is what Trump is -- more so than any US president, possibly excepting Reagan & FDR.

Today Trump knows all the world's leaders, especially our enemies, better than any president since Nixon.
Trump knows what has to happen to make world peace on America's terms.

A strike: "It has been noted many times that his decisions appear to be mostly reliant on the influence of the last person to talk to him. "

Noted only by fools who understand nothing.

Here's what's true: Trump talks to many people of differing opinions before deciding on an issue.
Naturally, the LAST person he talks to will be the one whose opinions Trump supports and wants to help Trump execute his plan.

A strike: "Hence his undeniable ire at Bibi for getting us into this reckless untenable war.
It is not TDS to notice this, it is intellectual honestly."

Trump is not "angry" with Netanyahu, he is Israel's strongest supporter ever in the White House, and will always be.
Trump does not regret a "reckless untenable war", that's just stupid talk.
Trump knows what he has to do to prevent Iran from building nukes, and he's doing it, with strategic aid from Israel.
One conversation between Trump & Netanyahu, over Lebanon, does not change anything about Iran or US support for Israel.

A strike: "left Kagan, Hegseth and many others off the list, my bad.."

Hegseth works for Trump.
He does what Trump tells him to do.

So you don't have a problem with Hegseth, you have a problem with Trump.
And that problem is what, exactly?
Do you think you're smarter than Trump, that's why he should do what you say?

I think you should seek counseling for such delusions.
