I think it started before then although Saint George likely accelerated the trend.
I think the first one I noticed was a Progressive Insurance commercial with a mixed race couple. They were the most unlikely couple imaginable and the commercial had the most ridiculous βstoryβ line. I suspect the creators were given marching orders and they passive aggressively made the most awful commercial they could come up with as a small act of rebellion,

If someone landed from somewhere else with no prior knowledge except watching commercials he would be convinced that a by far and away portion of the country is black or at least brown with a smattering of Asian thrown in.
The colored actors guild has to be hurting for people. Advertising is so woke it has lost touch.
I absolutely hate those commercials with the two butt ugly and smug guys. That one guy looks like a beaver. Must have had all his molars pulled for the look.

Then there's the extremely aggressive Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), an SPLC-type group dedicated to pushing the homosexual agenda onto all forms of advertising and film/video production, often threatening discrimination lawsuits if their demands are not met.

I can watch Canadian television during hockey season and their ads have fewer blacks and more Asians. Some of the white guys seem like competent people, particularly the hardware ads. Most of those father-son vignettes are now father-daughter or even mother-daughter vignettes and they’re almost always showing the daughters winning athletic events.

The UK uses advertising as a form of social engineering. I examined about 300 advertisements while researching this video, and the social and ideological programming in British advertising is extensive. The UK presented in advertisements is so different from the demographic and social reality of the country that it comes off as a fictional cosmopolitan progressive fantasy land. I will be calling this place Adland.Regards,The depiction of this fantasy UK is identical across the many marketing firms that create British advertisements. Adland has a hyperdiverse population. White girl/black guy couples are the relationship norm. Women are the dominant sex both professionally and in private life. The few white men in Adland are bumbling, lonely, incompetent, and unattractive.
Adland has a huge black population and smaller populations of various ethnic minorities. Mixed race couples consisting of a black man and a white woman are so common in British advertisements that rather than say a mixed-race couple consisting of a black guy and a white girl every time we come across one in this video, I have for the sake of brevity had to coin a portmanteau to refer to them. I will be calling white girl black guy couples "wigs." I have no need of a new word to refer to white men / black girl couples because in the 300 advertisements I analyzed for this video, I came across only three of them.
To emphasize the vast over representation of wigs in UK advertising, here is the most recent data I could find on race in relationships in the UK. In 2018, the BBC reported that 7% of couples in England and Wales were mixed race. In 2011, the Office for National Statistics reported that quote, "White British people were least likely to be in inter-ethnic relationships at 4%."

I like the ad I saw some years ago when this propaganda started hitting the airwaves. The couple was mixed - black and white - with a couple of mixed raced kids. The third kid was Asian looking. I thought at the time, where did he come from?+-
No it did not. It started way before Floyd.
The black population has been around the 13 percent mark for nearly forever. And the blacks never stop to think why. My theory is it is because of not only abortions but also that blacks are killing themselves off at a fantastic rate.
LOL....Whenever these commercials come on, I’m always telling my wife there’s no way those two are a couple.....
