Some of the white men in ads didn’t check for lower hotel and resort prices. Some didn’t know how to shop at Aldi and were afraid to try. Others missed out of insurance savings. And, finally, some didn’t have Samuel L. Jackson to tell him to have the right credit card in their wallet.

It never works out that way in real life. 90% end in divorce. Personally I never buy products which use that kind of advertising. Never.

at least they started mixing it up with a black woman and white guy, instead of the tired black guy white girl they pushed forever.

The left believes the lie that blacks are becoming the majority. When the truth is they are 13%, basically the same percentage as 100 years ago. It is hispanics and Asians that are vasting increasing. Hispanics at around 30%, and Asians only 5% or so, but increasing at the fastest pace.

It started the moment advertising people had data showing mixed racial couples spend a lot of money.

More likely it's done because it causes people to look at the ad rather than scan right past it, and they've found that the viewers reactions of positive-indifferent-negative lean positive enough to do it that way. Other companies jump on the band wagon to make a buck.

But the country is racist, don'tchyaknow!

In the US.

Not worldwide!

European race (as opposed to Asian or African race) is the minority world wide being 10-15% of the world population.

That said these are American ads. If not relatable to the consumer I imagine they are not very effective. If they lose enough money I guess they’ll stop.

Disgusting. I’ve sent several emails to corporations complaining about this. Not that they care.

They’re just desensitizing the citizenry to make it seem normal.

There is this ad that YT shows all the time a disembodied floating head guy and then it glows and its weird. No idea what they are selling and dont care.

It’s been MUCH longer than that, I think.

In my immediate family we have two mixed-race and -culture marriages. The white spouse in both marriages gets short shrift and is bullied.

Do not watch much of anything with commercials. When one does appear, I make a mental note to never purchase the item(s).

My guess: Now that many if not most Ad Firms are headed by
female CEOs, you get more of what they consider
The Ideal Arrangement “Ebony & Ivory” in perfect harmony.
Whether this is the reality or not.

Same mentality as some pet owners, who insist on raising Cat and Dogs and noisy Birds all side by side, expecting each animal to fight their more natural response of fear and repulsion.
