Pretty sure there's a few of us Rush fans remaining here on Free Republic.
Enjoy!
Anyhow, click on the link. Lots of great clips.
Seeing them in Glendale, Arizona in December. Taking my teen boys.

Seeing them in October in Seattle.
They must continue to live in the limelight.
I’ve never seen or heard her play, but that lady must be one darn good drummer to replace Neil.
Saw them twice.
Amazing shows.

Rush is one of those bands you either love or hate. But. They seem to have a lot of fun together.
Knowing them, I didn’t doubt it. Until they put it there. Why the need to explain or clarify? Whatever. Go out and play your gigs.
Saw them in Pittsburgh circa 1980 when I was in high school.
Always thought that Alex Lifeson was, and still is, criminally underrated as a guitarist.
And Peart was vastly OVERrated as a songwriter (lyricist, actually).
Yes, there are several of us!
After all these years most Free Republic members still think Limbaugh when ‘Rush’ is mentioned. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that!”
Had the honor of seeing them two or three times (a few years in the 1970s plead the Fifth), each show a spectacular example of musicianship and song-crafting. It’s wonderful that they’re getting back on that horse long after many could just rest on their laurels.
Maybe Neil will send us a postcard from Cygnus.
Nothing against Anika but Rush will never be the same without Neil. We truly lost one of the greatest with his passing.
The other night I got bored watching the Pirates get beat by the Rockies, so I pulled up Youtube and randomly searched for Xanadu, and found the video from the first show with Annika. And sat there the rest of the evening watching through the various songs with a big goofy grin on my face. Amazing to see Rush being Rush again, having fun on stage and knocking them out of the park, Geddy bouncing around like a kid again. Annika was the perfect choice. Will be interesting to see if they come up with some new material, maybe a new album or two.
