Stabbing in a school in Maryland?
Yawn...
In other news, the sun appeared in the sky this morning...
Yeah. Another article made that exact same point. Maryland does all it can to hamper order in its schools. Then everyone is all surprised by the violence.
(I didn’t post that article because the other one contained more info.)
Did their parents give them the knives and say take out a couple white folks and we’ll up your allowance?
I don’t understand. Aren’t the schools supposed to have mass shootings, since knife attacks don’t advance national disarmament? Which dem pols set this up?
Like the moron at Howard U said, black boys have boundaries.
Assuming, of course...
Crank up GoFundMe. Some mother needs Gucci.
I will always remember one day when I was in the 5th grade, sitting in the science classroom, and a cow-like female “student” tried to stab an elderly female teacher with a pencil.
Fortunately, a male teacher was present who thwarted the attack, the teacher wasn’t hurt, the “student” was dispatched to reform school, and was never seen again.
The “student” was larger and heavier that her classmates, indicating that she had been held back at least once.
Now “students” are promoted automatically regardless of their academic achievement and behavioral history. To do otherwise would be considered racist and the teacher would suffer rather than the “student”.
I heard of the story but didn’t know where the school was. It’s 2 miles from my house in a very nice and somewhat trendy city called Havre de Grace, MD. Certainly now where you’d expect such a crime to occur.
Gotta be a good story there.
So while in elementary school you built a time machine and went back to maybe Anglo-Saxon England? Cool!
I also taught high school in a large city—NYC, matter of fact. What you say is very true—administrators don’t want their school characterized as a “dangerous school” and will go to extraordinary lengths, including what you said, to avoid teachers reporting violence perpetrated against them or other students. Or, they very well might say, “Report this and receive a nasty letter in your file or be brought up on charges. Charges for what? They’ll think of something. Transfer to a nicer school? That would be hard to find nowadays in NYC. They are pretty much equally lousy, with DEI, commie indoctrination of students, you name it. And who’s to say there won’t be a letter circulating about you being a troublemaker or some such?
> Report this and receive a nasty letter in your file or be brought up on charges. <
People who have never taught in city schools don’t understand how insane it is. We were told that calling the city police was a firing offense. So if there was a violent brawl, we had to call the school police.
They were slow to respond, and unarmed. But the administrators could bury school police reports. That’s all that mattered.
One more thing. Even in my worst classes, most of the kids were good. They tried. They are the biggest victims of all the mayhem.
I’m sure you’ll agree with that.
