It's you that has no idea what you're talking about. Try reading up on the 1924 Immigration Act - it severely restricted immigration, and it lasted for about 40 years.

I have a family member that came in during that period too, but on the whole, the number was massively reduced from what it was before and after. (Especially with the Hart–Celler Act of 1965.)

Your desire for more liberal immigration policy puts you in the same camp as Woodrow Wilson, Teddy Kennedy, and the George Bushes. Happy?

Recently there was a video of a British family, mom, dad and three girls.

Turns out dad is a wuss. They went to a Bass Pro Shop in Louisville, KY.

Mom and the girls were all excited to ‘’shoot guns!’’ But dad put the skids on that right away. The way he was carrying on you'd think the firearms were going to spring to life and kill them all.

The look of confusion and disappointment on their girls faces and mom's was very palpable.
