This is my new favorite thing.
There are a ton of posts from foreigners who are in the U.S. for the World Cup and just discovered that America is awesome.
My only regret is that I can't show them ALL to you.
15 VIDEOS OF WORLD CUP FANS TRYING OUT AMERICAN FOODS FOR THE FIRST TIME...................
There's also the Jersey delis:
VIDEOS AT LINK!....................
And the Mexican joints:
And the grocery stores:
Of course, it isn't all about food.
Foreigners are experiencing FREEDOMâą for the first time in their lives and the rush is going to their heads! đŠ
(Especially this first kid.)
Of course, there are downsides to all this glorious liberty...

Sorry to hear that. So what is your Indian name anyway?
My indian name is Tonto. You realize America banned immigration for 40 years, ending in the 60’s, right? We need to do it again.
No.
No we didnât. My father came here in 1957. You have no idea what youâre talking about.
Fort Valley,GA, Tunic,MS & Memphis,TN the last 12 years.đ
Memphis. Not so much. Government there is corrupt more than LA County.
Sad.
I have a family member that came in during that period too, but on the whole, the number was massively reduced from what it was before and after. (Especially with the HartâCeller Act of 1965.)
Your desire for more liberal immigration policy puts you in the same camp as Woodrow Wilson, Teddy Kennedy, and the George Bushes. Happy?
“Hold on thar Mavrick! There’s a hole on muh property whut ain’t a gushin’ oil! Ain’t supposed to be no holes on muh property whut ain’t a gushin’ oli!’’
You really think Southerners have a lock on manners and hospitality. How pathetic.
You said âbannedâ. Thatâs clearly different than âseverely restricted â
They are. They simply don't understand us or what freedom is. The sight of a firearm seems to scare them to death. Only one Brit apparently does ââgetââ us, Katie Hopkins.
Recently there was a video of a British family, mom, dad and three girls.
Turns out dad is a wuss. They went to a Bass Pro Shop in Louisville, KY.
Mom and the girls were all excited to ââshoot guns!ââ But dad put the skids on that right away. The way he was carrying on you'd think the firearms were going to spring to life and kill them all.
The look of confusion and disappointment on their girls faces and mom's was very palpable.
I live in a border state. I can think anything I want.
“I can think anything I want’’.
Yeah you can.
Try not to do too much of it.
First generation American huh? My family is traced back to coming to America in 1751. Maybe you should study American history? We DID halt immigration starting in 1924.

Have a nice day!
What a joke you are. Simple question. Did you serve in the US Military? My Dad, the immigrate did. As did I and my brother. Both first generation immigrants. The last thing we need is a history lesson from you.
Well I usually am funny. Good luck bigdaddy.
Elon is from South Africa. Would you have preferred he stayed there? Steve Jobsâ father was from Syria. Would you have preferred he stayed there? InCalculable amounts of American wealth have been created from immigrants and the sons of immigrant. But of course if you had your way, we would have pulled up the ladder in 1924.
Meh. This conversation bores me now.
It wasn’t banned, just much more difficult. My mom came here with my grandparents from Greece in 1956. It took three years and they had to be checked out by the FBI first.
Itâs obvious why. You canât back up your argument
You again? Can you just go and harass someone else? You’re not going to get it so there’s no point in me explaining anything to you. This is me being nice.
