It wasn’t banned, just much more difficult. My mom came here with my grandparents from Greece in 1956. It took three years and they had to be checked out by the FBI first.
So about as many immigrants came into the country in 40 years from 1924 to 1964 as illegal and legal immigrants that came in in a week under Biden. I’d take that.
