The Belfast victim remains in serious condition in hospital after a savage, medieval knife attack in north Belfast left him with catastrophic injuries, including the loss of his left eye, severe damage to his right eye, deep cuts all over his face, and lacerations to his back.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was attacked Monday night on Kinnaird Avenue, a residential street near Antrim Road. Police said he suffered significant eye injuries, and serious slash wounds to his face and back.
A 30-year-old Sudanese national, Hadi Alodid, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an article with a blade or point in a public place, and making threats to kill. He appeared at Laganside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.

The attack unfolded at about 10:30 p.m. Graphic footage shared online appeared to show a man on top of a prone victim, repeatedly stabbing toward his head and neck as horrified residents tried to intervene.
The video appeared to show locals rushing in to stop the assault, including one man armed with a hurling stick. Police later praised residents whose actions, they said, helped save the victim’s life.

I was in Columbus Ohio last week and could barely recognize it as an American city. It was nothing but foreigners, Chinese, Somalian, Ghana, etc. And there were plenty of fake business fronts (learing centers and “home health care”) right next to the airport.
There was even an opressed special rights protected class biker gang.
Can we stop the “asylum seeker” nonsense. What they seek is welfare benefits.
In the meantime, the UK government has the family of the victim pulling a Rodney King (can’t we all just get along).

Needs repeating
“Trial By Jury” as we know it started in 1066 following the Norman Conquest of the same year. And, traces of the jury concept can be found as far back as Jesus’s days on earth. I would argue that because Courts didn’t have crystal clear videos back in 1066 that “juries” made some sense.
But, today, when every person on earth has an instant camera in their pocket, that produces crystal clear video most of the time, I would argue that in a few SELECT CASES a defendant is not a “defendant” he is dead meat sitting in his chair in the courtroom.
The judge in this case should have the option to rule that Hadi is not entitled to a jury or a lawyer and that he will be shot dead in 30 minutes. Restructuring the judicial system in this way would STOP Muslim Stabbings of innocent people. But, Liberals control our society and so this will not happen and our countries response to these heinous crimes will continue to be WEAK.
At the point that I want every God-damned ‘immigrant’, ‘refugee’, and ‘asylum-seeker’ removed from every Western Country. It’s an invasion that has resulted in the demographically certain elimination of our civilization. To a large degree, it has already occurred.
Those of us who remember the Before Times are left to reflect on just what it would take to reclaim our birthright...

While I have some support for your views on modern jury trials, we are now also facing the problem with fake videos.
Technology already makes it possible for it to appear that it was Elvis who shot President Trump. And, the technology is only going to get better and more convincing.
I don’t know the solution for irrational jury decisions. Especially those driven by racial or political bias. Wish I did.
“Heads or tails” is not what you think in some countries.
All the logical and other straining and struggling to defend the jury system and legal system in other countries as well as the US will not succeed in convincing people, deep down, that the system is worthwhile.
Criminals have all the rights. Victims have no rights. Judges can keep actual video and audio confession and crime in progress evidence from being seen by the jurors. And a judge can set aside a jury verdict if his or her personal prejudice disagrees. Called Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict (in Latin, this is referred to as non obstante veredicto.).
As Glenn Beck referenced yesterday, a few of the OJ Simpson jurors have since admitted to feelings of remorse and regret
that they knowingly let him go in order to “stick it to the Man” for past vague memories of black people who were probably innocent.
