It's June, which means the baseball world will be on edge for the next 25 days or so. A tradition unlike any other in this country!
For those who don't know (and that's none of you, because it's everywhere), June is Pride Month. Haven't you heard?!
You know in October when the NFL wears pink for a month? That's June in Major League Baseball, except it's rainbow hats and social media posts. And, of course, the Texas Rangers angering half the country because they don't do any of it.

actually, over the last 10 years this group has shot itself in the foot. I believe being stupid and infiltration by cultural Marxists have destroyed a lot of support as a group that the community had from outsiders.
I have watched one Super Bowl since 1992. Part of that is work related but mostly for the reasons you cited. I have a couple of exceptions but sports has become unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Still, I am passionate about almost any sport from boxing to baseball....of the 1970s and 80s. :-)

Depends on who they ask about MLB support. Many surveys (polls) are swayed with this be including groups or people in support and not asking those who do not. This was why the question of homosexuality was “under determined” in the original poll in the 1950’s as it was done in prisons where the only sex they got was homosexual.

Yeah, they lumped all the presidents into one day. Only Washington and Lincoln had one day.
I realize that, but the bottom line is that blacks have an entire month, sexual perverts have an entire month, and a non-president, Martin Luther King Jr., has his own day.

I believe these are the freaks that were honored before a game at Dodger stadium last June. Many folks came late for that reason.
Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw explicitly stated he disagreed with the team’s decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an LGBTQ+ charity and performance group, during their Pride Night.
Kershaw clarified his objections were specifically about the group mocking Christianity, not the LGBTQ+ community. In response to the controversy, Kershaw pushed the organization to expedite the relaunch of the team’s Christian Faith and Family Day.
