It's June, which means the baseball world will be on edge for the next 25 days or so. A tradition unlike any other in this country!
For those who don't know (and that's none of you, because it's everywhere), June is Pride Month. Haven't you heard?!
You know in October when the NFL wears pink for a month? That's June in Major League Baseball, except it's rainbow hats and social media posts. And, of course, the Texas Rangers angering half the country because they don't do any of it.

I doubthalf the country supports homosexuals.Just a LOUD small minority.
“And, of course, the Texas Rangers angering half the country because they don’t do any of it.” ‘Deep in the heart of Texas’.
And veterans only get one day.

According to the report, nine NFL teams did not take part in Pride Month social media messages on Monday. Those nine teams include:
New York Jets
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cleveland Browns
Cincinnati Bengals
Tennessee Titans
Kansas City Chiefs
Las Vegas Raiders
Dallas Cowboys
New Orleans Saints
I dropped MLB altogether (I was a lifelong Dodger fan), and my former Dodger fan pastor told the entire congregation to shun them. My best friend was a serious baseball fan. Fantasy baseball keeps him in, but he has switched his allegiance to the Texas Rangers.
Should change their name to the Packers. Fudge Packers
Good call!
Pitchers and Catchers?
Homosexuality isn’t big in Japan, where a lot of folks there root for the Dodgers because of Ohtani.
What are they proud of? Sticking dicks up their asses? That’s their big accomplishment in life?
Couldn’t have a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk but they can spend a boat load of money celebrating people who engage in various forms of what many, many people (dare I say probably close to 80% of the worldwide population) consider vile, depraved and immoral sex acts.
Apparently that’s less controversial than talking about not doing that . . .
It’s also Cancer Survivors Month. Does anybody ever mention that?
Along with the other Japanese team members.
I would think it is more accurate to say that the promotion of alphabetism isn't big in Japan, though behind the fusuma there may be much more going on.
Same here different team. I still have a vestige of interest but I no longer follow the team. I’m slowly giving away all my swag and stuff. Maybe it’s just getting older but I’m over it and not just MLB, all spectator sports.
Disgusting, just another lousy influence on the kids to push the LGBTQ agenda, to make kids believe this is normal behavior.
I am looking at Delaware Park racetrack and the US flag is above a “250” flag. No signs of gay flags. A friend noticed that not one horse track put rainbows or gay flags on its broadcasts or social media outlets (not a comprehensive search). Perhaps racing knows its target audience.
