I used to be a rabid sports fan but have gradually grown increasingly disgusted with them all. That was some time ago as I don't even know the names of all teams or where they're located. The best I have to offer as protest is to not give any of them any money.

If everybody who whines about it would stop supporting it, we'd see a change. But, slaves loves dey bread and circuses.

I have watched one Super Bowl since 1992. Part of that is work related but mostly for the reasons you cited. I have a couple of exceptions but sports has become unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Still, I am passionate about almost any sport from boxing to baseball....of the 1970s and 80s. :-)
