WASHINGTON — Hunter Biden is marking his seventh year of sobriety with a social media blitz that’s taking the internet by storm.
Hunter, 56, began posting on his X account last month after years of dormancy, a move so surprising some wondered if the messages were fake.
The account proved both genuine and a hit, quickly amassing nearly half a million followers, most of whom have cheered Hunter’s purported honesty and dry sense of humor.
After Hunter posted a message celebrating being seven years sober Monday, one user accused him of being the owner of a bag of cocaine left in the West Wing during the summer of 2023.
“It most definitely was not. I would never have forgotten my drugs,” Hunter shot back.
The clapback got more than 242,000 likes.
Three days later, Hunter posted a tongue-in-cheek critique of a photoshopped image showing him with a drug pipe in his mouth.
“I know this may sound petty, but I can’t stand it when people… photoshop a meth pipe in my mouth,” he wrote Thursday, earning another 146,000 likes. “A crack pipe doesn’t have that little bowl at the end. This is why we can’t trust AI. Please make the appropriate edit. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
He left the comment in response to a user who created a mock Hunter 2028 campaign poster, featuring the tag line: “Let’s smoke the competition.”

We live in Bizarro World. This is destined to come to pass.
,,, Hunter, you’re such an inspiration! Now, let’s get back to your laptop, eh?
I admire the Post, but, seriously, what a load of crap
“I would never have forgotten my drugs,”
Perhaps dementia runs in the family.
People are blocking him faster than those likes
Seventh year of sobriety and nearly a year an a half of not being the bagman for bribes for Slow Joe. He still had the bag open, but no one was dropping in the cash anymore.
Qualification for office: Not currently a meth addict.
There’s more...
Hunter Biden claps back on critics with wild posts about drugs, Epstein, his paintings and more in X return
Leopards don’t change their spots...especially Biden leopards.
No kidding.
Hunter Biden charm offensive even has Trump talking 2028 as former first son tries to rewrite scandal-plagued historyThe linked NY Post story carries this headline:

Sorry, that was a funny comeback by Hunter.
In some way, I fell sorry for the scumbag. He was born into a family of grifters with LOTS of money and power. He never had to make anything of himself. He never had to stand on his own two feet. The drug addiction and endless money has crippled him into a worthless human POS.
I hope he is able to clean himself up, but it does not look like it will happen. He is too far gone.
After the ukraine war he’ll be in high demand as they will need to repair lots of energy in the country.
A hilarious comeback to be sure, I doubt a crackhead would put his drugs in that cubby in the first place as an addict would have put it up his ass. ;-)
😂👍
Hunter will never kick the habit.
He left his drug paraphernalia in a rental car at the Prescott airport while he was at a rehab center in Sedona. The Prescott PD probably still has it.
Hear me out. If Hunter is truly trying to make ammends as best he can and movr forward productively, President Trump could employ him in a role that would both challenge him to grow up professionally and spiritually. Give him incentives like a pro athletes contract. He moves forward. His debts get paid. Be something of a father to his daughter he once denied.
Speak out and help others get and stay sober. Succeed where almost no one expects him to. Be an exame to his family.
