Thomas Massie may be leaving Congress, but don't expect him to disappear from Republican politics anytime soon ... because he and Marjorie Taylor Greene have been cooking up plans behind the scenes to retake the GOP.
Charlie caught up with the outgoing Kentucky Congressman Wednesday on Capitol Hill and asked about his recent Costa Rica vacay with Greene and her fiancé, Brian Glenn -- a trip TMZ first revealed after the group was spotted dining together.
Massie praised Greene as someone who has "her finger on the pulse" of MAGA voters ... calling her an important voice for people who believe D.C. has failed to deliver on key promises.
Check out the full video ... Massie teases his behind-the-scenes talks with Greene, hints at future plans, and explains why he thinks voters are searching for politicians who keep their promises.

No wonder they feel they are relatable to the common man. I always jet to Costa Rica for dinner.
The BBB was the answer to any FAFO that your govt was going to do this time around with Trump and the mandate the People gave him..
His previous mandate was slowed or stopped by DC Swamp scum in the Swamp Executive, Swamp Legislative and Swamp Judicial Branches, that enabled they spied on his campaign, two hoax impeachments, the Wuhan Coup flu stolen election, and the targeted lawfare.
The People voted for obliteration and draining of the scum that sit in places like Congress and the Trump Administration wasn’t taking any chances that DC Swamp HQs like Congress would be the same enemies domestic they proved to be from 2017-2025.
They are just talking shit and trying to take down President Trump and help the democrats, yet you persist in supporting them.
By the time those over 56 pass away, many of his previous voters will have grown up and won’t support him either.
A guess hating on Jews is still got enough following to keep them just relevant enough to not be ignored completely.
Thanks for a great question!
Why do some alleged "conservatives" hate their country, and even hate the people who are trying to set it right again?
MAGA Conservatives, 2024 election results by county:
We could spend a lot of time on this one, but I'll try to summarize:
I’ll go on the record once again and say that such people as you named are on the left. They always have been on the left, too. Not once have they articulated any position that could be construed as “right wing”, and that includes pandering to religion or even fiscal responsibility.
The number of people who still care about these two is dwindling and approaching nil.
Right.
But Rand Paul & such Libertarians are the opposite of such people, and should not be lumped together with them, so long as they remain true to Libertarian values.
The Libertarians' problem, from a conservative Republican perspective, is they can put ideology over governance, and vote against sensible actions on grounds of ideological purity, even when the alternatives are far worse.
IOW, by holding up "perfection" as their standard, they can make it impossible to move from bad to good.
Fortunately, most Libertarian leaners in Congress (i.e., Lee & Roy) have made peace with Pres. Trump and support his actions most, or all, of the time.
Olog-hai: "Not once have they articulated any position that could be construed as “right wing”, and that includes pandering to religion or even fiscal responsibility."
Not sure what you mean by "pandering to religion", but I don't agree that the US Constitution requires elimination of all religion from all public spaces.
That's not what our Founders said or did.
They knew full well their new Constitution required a virtuous public, virtuous as defined in the Bible and Western Enlightenment Age traditions.
They were only concerned that people can worship as they choose, and that government does not "establish" an official religion.
Publicly respecting people's religious beliefs and values is neither "pandering" nor "establishing" such beliefs, imho.
As for fiscal responsibility, it is absolutely important to maintain a healthy economy and should be prioritized in terms of long term

So, I would not focus on one goal (i.e., eliminating debts) to the exclusion of all others, though I would certainly emphasize certain goals (i.e., protecting the US manufacturing base) when those seemed especially threatened.
I count my views as Trumpian MAGA Republican and conservative in the sense of wanting to preserve the best of what we have, as opposed to radically eliminating one problem regardless of what others it creates.
