Thomas Massie may be leaving Congress, but don't expect him to disappear from Republican politics anytime soon ... because he and Marjorie Taylor Greene have been cooking up plans behind the scenes to retake the GOP.
Charlie caught up with the outgoing Kentucky Congressman Wednesday on Capitol Hill and asked about his recent Costa Rica vacay with Greene and her fiancé, Brian Glenn -- a trip TMZ first revealed after the group was spotted dining together.
Massie praised Greene as someone who has "her finger on the pulse" of MAGA voters ... calling her an important voice for people who believe D.C. has failed to deliver on key promises.
Check out the full video ... Massie teases his behind-the-scenes talks with Greene, hints at future plans, and explains why he thinks voters are searching for politicians who keep their promises.

Massie and MTG will appeal to the younger conservatives. It’s just a matter of time before Massie gets his turn.
During the campaign they had AI video of Massie holding hands with AOC and Ilhan Omar leading into a hotel room and putting “do not disturb” on the door lol.
Legends in their own minds. They couldn’t keep their House seats but they’ll take control of the GOP. Can you say delusional? 🙄
They can’t be conservative if what those two say appeals to them.
If this were the Dems and not the GOP, Massie would be Kentuckycided, and MTG would experience a massive (induced) cardiac failure.
Joke?
A sitting congressman who got totally CRUSHED in primaries is taking over the GOP?
I’m shaking in my boots.
Chuckle.
The Republican party is likely to change once the boomers pass on. Massie won a majority of the votes of those under 56. He’s obviously not popular here among the Fox news watching boomers.
That maybe true but they do represent something in the GOP
Like Jim said younger voters.
They attend conferences and speak to crowds (at least Greene does now out of Congress). Massie had a lot of enthusiasm and people come from outside his district to help him and yes I know that didn’t work out but still interesting.
He also raised millions for that run.
They’re not doing this for vanity surely? They have some support and people want to hear them.
Instead they just made sure Massie lost his primary and no longer a Congressman
It cost tens of millions but they did it
Massie and Greene will stick around it looks like and they have some modicum of support otherwise why do it? They’re not speaking to empty rooms
MTG resigned her seat.
lol
TMZ and Massie! Great Match.
TMZ cheered when Charlie Kirk’s death was announced.
Public opinion has not been kind to these buffoons. Even within the broader conservative ecosystem, the pair increasingly registers as background noise rather than serious players Both, however, are already well into the phase where the spotlight reveals more about their diminishing stature than it conceals
But they do have enthusiastic supporters and are not speaking to empty rooms.
Reminds me of Ron Paul
Will they go anywhere in the broader party? I dont know, maybe you’re right about that
They are NOT GOP!
Guilt by association ?
For the record Charlie was a fan of Massie. Do a search he had him on his show a few times and spoke highly of him
What news do you watch?
