I didn't have anything better to do this Monday so after 43 years I totaled our plane. Time to get out.

Caught a gust of wind on the strip. One wing hit the brush. High energy rotaion ensued. Tore off the Left main gear. Prop strike. All that stuff. For me nothing but a sore spot from the harness. Had this thing for 43 years, Wife and I had our first date in it. Lost na old freind. stuff happens

Praise be to our Heavenly Father! So glad you’re okay. I’m sorry about the loss of such a memory-maker. At least you still have your life and can still enjoy the memories your old friend made possible.
