MAGA host Dave Rubin drew a painful blank when a debate opponent asked him for a single measure under which the economy has improved under the second Trump administration.
“What is one main metric that Donald Trump has made better off since he got into office?” asked one of Rubin’s opponents in the debate, published Sunday by Jubilee Media under the title “Dave Rubin vs 20 Far-Left Democrats.” “An example would be GDP, unemployment, inflation, et cetera,” the person, who goes by the social media handle “parkergetajob,” added.

So you are saying that SOCTUS took the teeth away, right?
But most are starring building in the US, because of the Taiwan deal. You can’t have the worlds’ chip foundries in Taiwan.
Private Sector Employment.
Easy Peasy.
+150,000, which is admittedly a bit weak.
Yeah some people do really well with the Jubilee format...but it takes a certain skill.
Charlie Kirk.
Yes, SCOTUS ruled the tariffs illegal. And absolutely, we must bring manufacturing back onshore. Semiconductors are one of many industries that are critical to our national security. Steel, shipbuilding, rare earth elements and others too.
He could mentioned the tax cuts. He couldve mentioned the slashing of the bloated federal govt. and associated fraud. He couldve mentioned the removal of hundreds of thousands of illegal alien burdening the economy. The man has done more than most recent Presidents combined. That is with the media, billionaire activists, the democrats and lots of GOP running interference 24/7.
Exactly. If this guy wanted an easy one…. Isnt the stock market hammering a new record out every few weeks. I understand as a metric it is not the greatest indicator of everyday Americans economic health but…. When it crashes at some , as it always does, the media will act like is , for now they will ignore it and mitigate it.
It never is. Most presidents get to brag about new all time high with markets. Markets are unrelated to the health and well being for the average American.
63 percent of Americans invest in the stock market.
Around 60% of the public are invested in the stock market. He could have said “retirement accounts and 401ks” to sound more general vs. Wall Street.
The point is the media cannot have it both ways. They cannot ignore the markets current strength or give Trump no credit when the second there is a haircut it will be his fault. Anyone who has a portfolio is benefitting from the markets…. So thats something.
Coulda, woulda
Really? Did FR celebrate record highs under Obama and Biden? Did you give them credit? Is the media required to do that?
Markets are driven via liquidity, and largely unrelated to the actual economy we live in. That's we have record high debt and deficits while ripping higher. That's the nature of the feedback loop.
Lol of course they CAN, after all a brand new addition to the global lexicon was invented to deal with the medias hypocrisy and duplicity….the fact the media doesnt care about truth is probably why the medias credibility ranks right down there with lawyers and politicians. I dont cheer the stock market, im the one who stated it is not a good benchmark… i dont see many folks in here doing that ever…. But i have seen Freepers gripe about Obamas high unemployment rates and Bidens 9% inflation both of which are always forgotten about by the “journalists”.
