Bass and Pratt will likely be the two who emerge from this primary. Pratt will still have to beat Bass in November, and it’s hard to see greater LA supporting him.
The polling company denies any such poll, and says it’s a fake and planted tweet. Since it’s way out of the center of the polling data, it’s probably Pratt’s own people.
I’m not nearly as religious as I used to be and I don’t pray often. In 2016, I had a single, fervent prayer that I used many times before the election: “Please help people see what is true and what is not. And give them the courage to choose accordingly.”

Before getting too excited, remember that Cornyn placed first in the Texas primary before the anti-Cornyn vote consolidated in the runoff. Same thing is likely to happen to Pratt unless the polls are vastly undercounting his support. We are still talking about Los Angeles, after all, where make-believe is the dominant industry and, I daresay, mentality. The percentage of people directly impacted by crime and the fires is still small compared to the percentage of people committing, enabling and excusing those things.
They both will go to runoff in November.
In the weeks/days before an election, it’s ALL about momentum.
