NASCAR legend Kyle Busch died of severe pneumonia leading to sepsis, according to his family.

“The medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications,” the Busch family said.

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch passed away on Thursday.

He was 41 years old.

Earlier Thursday, the Busch family released a statement on Kyle Bushch’s deteriorating health:

“Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization. He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation,” the Busch family said Thursday morning.

On Thursday afternoon, NASCAR announced that Kyle Busch had passed away.

According to the Associated Press, Kyle Busch was found unresponsive in a racing simulator in Concord, North Carolina, the day before he died.

The 911 call revealed Kyle Busch was coughing up blood before he passed away.

“I’ve got an individual that’s shortness of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out and is producing a little bit of blood — coughing up some blood,” the 911 caller said.

Anything is dangerous if used improperly. People die from too much “dihydrogen monoxide.”

A few parts per million is therapeutic. The concentrations used in industrial settings are much higher.

Like I said, I have personal experience with this stuff, and it’s fine and dandy as long as you don’t get stupid.

This product is actually used in some municipal water supplies for disinfection, so people are already drinking it in very low concentrations anyway. No one seems to be very upset about that.

You can tablets on Amazon for disinfecting water when out on the trail or in emergencies. Guess what? If you disinfect drinking water with CDS, you’re drinking it.

Poor guy was sick and over worked himself and probably didn’t get enough rest. He died trying to continually get better at racing. :.(

AI Overview

This statement is currently not supported by medical consensus. While initially promising, large randomized controlled trials (RCTs) found that the combination of IV Vitamin C, hydrocortisone, and thiamine does not cure sepsis or significantly reduce mortality compared to standard care.

Yes. A further difficult problem is when certain bacteria are flourishing in a persons body, causing say, Klebsiella pneumonia, a dose of antibiotics that kill the bacteria also cause them to burst in the person, giving off endotoxins (gram negative bacteria) or exotoxins (gram positive bacteria). These toxins can trigger an unfortunate immune reaction in the person, causing septic shock and death from multi-organ failure. Again, Jim Henson (Muppets creator) was in his 50s and died after a very brief respiratory illness. It went from bad cold to pneumonia to unconscious, to death, in a couple or 3 days.

Yeah...I (and others I know) have asked AI medical questions...not trustable. That said, Kyle Busch probably waited too long to get help...no matter the protocol.

You think Jim took antibiotics which caused a toxic reaction?

We Knew the family growing up btw. Brian was a classmate of mine at the Mead school.

“Was that the shot he asked for after Watkins Glen?”

seems like a good guess ... i can’t imagine a legitimate doc would inject antibiotics for pneumonia or the like and say “well now you’re good to go” ...

Last January, my Brother-In-Law was airlifted to the hospital with Covid and Pneumonia. A few days later, he contracted Sepsis.

We were devastated, because we weren’t expecting him to survive. He is in his late seventies and has heart problems and a fatal lung disease.

He is much older than my sister; Old enough to be her father.

Believe it or not, he survived. He suffers from Sundown Syndrome, heart problems and the aforementioned lung disease which is fatal.

Considering his age and his health problems, his survival was truly a miracle from God. The combination of Covid, Pneumonia and Sepsis would normally be fatal for young, healthy people.

Congrats for your brother! I had Covid (’mystery coronavirus’ plus heart attack, pneumonia and influenza-B) in Jan ‘20. Hospital had me on two IV anti-biotic ‘drip towers’. 7 meds. One tower on each arm, each side of the bed. I went in Mon morning and was basically out of it until Wednesday. Woke up Wednesday saw the IV tower on each arm and... had to take a piss really bad. It was shift change and no one answered the button fast enough.

The bathroom door was 10 feet away and I was wrapped up in 7 VI drips, all the monitoring equipment and wires, remotes, etc.

I struggled, got bad heart pain (I’d had a heart attack before coming in) but made it to the bathroom and back. I read some of the labels of the IV meds but didn’t recognize any. Don’t believe for a second they didn’t know how to fix Covid. They cleared the infections in 5 days. This was before the ‘protocols’ came out.

No. Not wasting my time. You were being obnoxious (and stupid) so you can’t possibly expect me to respond to that.

It was a while ago. What a terrible loss for everyone. I think I recall that he thought it was a cold that got worse. When he realized how sick he was getting, he called a cab to go to a hospital and could barely make it into the cab. He was reported unconscious by the time her arrived there. They likely recognized his respiratory infection quickly and gave him supportive care (IV fluids, oxygen, and antibiotics). Bad luck that the bacterial pneumonia that his cold had turned into was also a bad bug that can be especially deadly. It was theorized (maybe later?) that his rapid progression to multi organ failure was triggered by that or the infection was truly so overwhelming that he was too late getting treatment. You occasionally read about healthy college kids getting a serious infection that kills them in a mater of a day or three(bacterial meningitis) because it gets into CNS Brainpan lining and is deadly. Mu high school chemistry teacher had a 19 yr old son who died at college U of M., from it. So sad and it happened over 2 days. Early 1980s.

Timely discussion. I got heat stroke two weeks ago on a hike. I’m still recovering and experiencing swollen liver after taking some antibiotics due to suspecting I might also have an infection, possibly in the CNS or brain due to prior injuries. I was having wide-ranging, weird symptoms I haven’t had from heat injuries before.

I’ve stopped the antibiotics and am starting probiotics tomorrow to aid the liver.

Really sucks having to be my own Dr. but with emergency care as costly as it is today that’s what I got to do. The Emergency care was about 3 grand for an IV and some tests which didn’t help or resolve anything but pay their bills.

As soon as my pets pass I’m heading to SE Asia, probably Malaysia, Macao or Thailand. Cheaper, better and real healthcare without needing to be super rich.

RIP to Mr. Busch. Healthcare is a minefield in the US.

There is an awful lot of bad information on this thread. Sepsis is a body’s immune system’s over-reaction to an infection. It is NOT, itself, an infection.

I wish you the best with recovery and further adventures. I am getting more and more convinced that probiotics and a healthy immune system is a better place to be than maintained on medications and eating whatever. I now eat oatmeal with walnuts or pecans and dried fruit and plenty of cinnamon or shredded wheat for breakfasts daily and yoghurt or kimchee/saurkraut for lunches and feel better.

I also only eat butter and full fat dairy, just in moderation. Not as much meat but still enjoy eating it. Often have scrambled eggs with hot sauces as well.
