It’s safe to say the WNBA is the most toxic and dysfunctional professional sports league in US history.
And the league is incapable of learning from its mistakes. As Joe Hoft reported earlier this year, Caitlin Clark was injurted in the 2026 pre-season opener for the Indianapolis Fever.
They had their golden goose, and they ran it over. To date, rather than provide officiating that was fair and protected Clark, the league allowed women in the league to pull, push, hit, poke, hammer, and totally abuse Clark. The beatings and abuse took their toll. No one could have put up with what Clark endured.
Watching Clark’s games in the WNBA was not any fun. Fans found themselves yelling at the refs and the league throughout her games. Clark was hammered by jealous players and no fouls were called. When Caitlin Clark complained, she received a technical foul. The WNBA is a sick joke.
The WNBA went on to physically break Caitlin Clark. It appeared that they wanted to destroy their golden goose, Caitlin Clark, and they did.
But no matter what they did, they couldn’t stop her. Here is Clark scoring 9 points in less than a minute in a game last year.

Clark, the greatest scorer and point producer when adding in points off of assists, was the best women’s basketball player in NCAA history. She crushed NCAA scoring records, and she brought a fan base bigger than any women’s basketball player in US history with her to the WNBA two years ago. Clark went on to break the WNBA’s single-season assist record and was one shy of tying the season 3-point record.
Unfortunately, the WNBA has been horrible to her since her arrival, constantly trying to downplay her greatness and compare girls without her talent or records to her.
In this series in a game last year, Clark was poked in the eye by the opposing player after grabbing and pulling Clark all game long. Then the opposing player assaulted her and pushed her. Clark tried to get away but another opponent punched Clark in the back and then another player crashed Clark to the floor. None of Clark’s teammates stood up for her when this happened.
You get the picture.
Now, as the 2026 season is ready to take off – It appears Caitlin Clark is not.
Clark is injured again.
And now the league must figure out a way to fill the seats at the games after they destroyed their Golden Goose.
The future looks bleak for the WNBA.
Things are so bad the Indiana Fever is luring fans to games with free chips!

That is an incorrect statement. Another teammate of Clark, I believe her name is Cunningham, took the offending opponent down less than a minute later. Cunningham has practiced martial arts for years, so she manhandled the opponent with the greatest of ease. It is on You tube and very nice to watch. The fact that Cunningham looks like she is on the Swedish volleyball team makes it even more pleasant.
Correct. The hulking black lesbians of the WNBA conspired to a white girl who outplayed them. To her credit stood up to the bullying and answered with excellent play. I hope the NBA ends its subsidy and the WNBA goes bankrupt.
I blame Dawn Staley, the South Carolina girl’s basketball coach for the WNBA thug style of play. The SC shemales physically assaulted the Ct Huskies during the playoff. Recall that Gino got in Staley’s face and complained about the mugging. Staley and her ilk want no white competition in girl’s basketball. Despicable.

You’re right. This liberal mindset of equality cannot possibly balance the success of the league. It only fosters participation and mediocrity. It does not even offer success to the teams as they will have nothing to showcase for their efforts.
The NBA has learned to use the violence to showcase players who can hit but not be touched even to the point of mischaracterizing players’ talents to achieve the stardom it appears every player in the league automatically achieves just by inking a contract. And it is no longer a 6th man but all 13 are stars, some because they are enforcers and not real basketball players with a talent. But they all get overblown contracts because the league is marketed this way. And the WNBA just doesn’t realize that. So their source of income will dry up faster as they destroy the real talent available by petty jealousy and acts of women resembling juvenile delinquency. They need to be put on a cruise ship by themselves.
