There was a time when pseudotherapists had patients beat up on a dummy or a cushion or something “to get the anger out.” It naturally led to the people simply becoming even more openly aggressive. This pathetic soul is the end result of giving free rein to hostile aggression, basically losing control in the process.

Could people who have studied psychology explain theories of people hitting or burning effigies? Or pinatas?
Is there a term for the psychological disturbance? Do the Dems show they are on the road to entries in new editions of “The Serial Killers” books?
I did read references to the debunked “primal scream” and hitting pillows with a baseball bat in the therapist’s office that were fads in the days of John Lennon’s “Mother”.
