Aside from that - how “recent” was your move? If you are not already registered to vote then you may have passed the deadline for being able to vote in the upcoming May primary.

Because there's a Repub legislature that vetoes him. And there are several Fed candidates who claim to be pro-Trump. We moved from one of the bluest states in the country, so this feels like "finally" a choice for us.
