Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) said on Thursday that he was appalled by a report about the death of 31 slots who died under the care of Sloth World, a tourist attraction in Orlando that wasn’t yet opened to the public.
The slots were from South American rainforests, and perished in storage warehouses between December 2024 and February 2025, according to an incident report by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
“These sloths — naturally solitary animals — were put in the worst conditions possible,” Frost said in a Thursday post on X. “They were taken from their natural habitats to a packed warehouse that wasn’t properly heated and allowed for the spread of deadly viruses, leading to a stress-induced death.”

If Orlando’s Sloth World goes out of business, there will still be the original Sloth World in Washington D.C.
Real sloths or just illegal alien toilet bowl scrubbers?
Horrible. My son spent a month in Costa Rica volunteering at an animal sanctuary. Many of the animals were baby sloths that had lost their mothers. He’d send me pics. I fell in love with the 2 clawed sloths. Most people think of the 3 clawed ones. But, if you pull up pics of baby 3 clawed sloths, you’ll fall in love with how adorable they are.
This story made me sad. They are so fragile.
Look up pics of baby 2 clawed sloths. Nothing can be cuter,
Such gentle creatures.
Ha ha. Good response.
I assumed it was real sloths, as a Democrat wouldn’t be outraged that illegal alien toilet bowl scrubbers may have died in an overheated warehouse, though they would mourn the loss of the votes.
I’m sure that if that were the case, they would temper their grief in the knowledge that they could, as Democrats, still find a way to get them to vote.
Sounds just like the way the coyotes treat their cargo from Central America and Mexico.
lol
*In case you missed it, “sloths” was spelled “slots” in 2 separate sentences. 🤣
I’m in total disagreement with bringing exotic species of any kind to this country. It’s a little late now, but we need to stop it. We’ve got so many instances of invasive species that our own natural resources are in great peril.
Just think walking out on the trail and you’re struck by a Krate, die in minutes...
There was an article about a restaurant using roadkill.
Does sloth taste like chicken ? I asked AI if humans consume sloths .
Here’s the important part
The meat is described as slimy, tough, and gamey, sometimes roasted over fires. It is not a common food source.
I was thinking a crock pot or pressure cooker can tenderize it.
@MaxwellFrostFL
Where were you when Iryna and many other innocents were wantonly murdered - you pick sloths to be your top outrage?
Just the sort of thing the Chinese like to see.
No, they didn't steal the sloths. They are covering this heavily in Central Florida local news. They showed the actual invoices that shows the sloths were purchased legally. There is actually another 35 or so Sloths that aren't yet accounted for that aren't mentioned in the article.
What is really odd though, is, because of the classification the sloths are categorized in as an imported wild animal, the owners don't have to report when they die. I think it should be illegal to import them especially since they can't run away and hide!
Sloth world is for low IQ people to pay money to annoy sloths. You know they bite really really hard.
Let me guess, she has never been appalled by the countless aborted unborn, including those aborted at 9 months.
