What better way for Morning Joe to mark the Iran ceasefire than by once again tying President Trump to the “monsters of history”?
On consecutive days, co-host Jonathan Lemire reached for the same loaded line. He first used it yesterday, reacting to Trump’s bellicose Truth Social post warning Iran of severe consequences. He rolled it out again today—clearly deciding it was too good not to reuse. This time, he escalated further, suggesting Trump’s rhetoric would leave a lasting “stain” not just on his presidency, but on the United States itself.
On Tuesday’s show, Lemire cited Trump’s threat-laden language—of the sort the president has long used as part of his negotiating style—and declared it “the kind of rhetoric we associate with people like Vladimir Putin, with Kim Jong-un, with the monsters of history.”
Not content to leave it there, Lemire returned to the phrase the very next morning.

Evil people like Joe Scarborough and his decadent , adultress wife did not come from a political vacuum. They are part of the neo pagan, hedonistic decadence that is the Democratic Party. a significant percentage of the American people share their horrid values and are the core of the Democratic Party. The reality is that Trump leads a politically divided country. There no longer exists a consensus of commonly held decent values that would be the bais of support to support any just war or purpose.
