Former White House adviser and key figure in the MAGA movement, Steve Bannon, has called on the United States Department of Homeland Security to deport Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son, Yair, and send him to fight in Iran.
“Netanyahu's kid down in Miami, turf him out tomorrow,” Bannon said.
Similarly, on February 28th, a site was launched with the URL ‘DraftBarronTrump.com,’ a satirical site with fabricated quotes from the Trump family hailing Barron Trump’s bravery and how he should enlist to fight against Iran.
A draft would require approval from both the president and Congress, and the US has not had one since 1973.
Bannon expressed support for working with Arab countries to seize the Iranian island of Kharg.
"Let's have the Arabs. I want Arabs. I want a UAE, [Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan], who's the best they've got over there. And he's got a real army, it's not huge, but they actually know how to fight. Kharg Island. There's your objective. Go,” Bannon said.
"And throw in a couple of Qatar princes. Throw the Saudi princes in there, too. Get them out of London, get them out of the casinos and whorehouses in London. And get them back to the Gulf," he added.

Ummm. I’m going to reject that “key figure in the MAGA movement” label. He’s a drunk and a crank, and a good buddy and adviser to Epstein, as it turns out. Unjustly imprisoned for four months, but looking at the bright side, it kept his stupid mouth shut for four months in the run up to the election

It’s pretty clear there are two MAGA movements right now and the action in Iran points to a clear divide and Pres Trump’s public statements are seemingly aimed at trying to satisfy both sides, but soon, if the Iranians do not give it up, he will need to choose.

Bannon gave up drinking in 1998 . It’s not a secret . There’s plenty to criticize without making stuff up .

I would imagine Bibi’s kid was an Israeli citizen of age, he is already in the IDF in some form.

If Steve Bannon had a brain, he’d know that the ages of enlistment to serve in Israelli’s military begin at 18, and end at 28 for men. Women can enlist until age 20. Yair was born in 1991. He will turn 35 this year. The younger son Avner was born in 1994. He will be 32 this year.
More like pointing out how stupid he is. Enlistment age for Israel military for men is 18-28. Women can serve from 18-20. Yair will be 35 in July. The youngest son will be 32 in October.

One son served in a traditional unit when of age, the younger one that Bannon mentioned served out his requirement in a non-combative, press communications unit: the IDF spokesperson’s unit.
He is in Miami, living a luxury life most of the time and is not on “reserve” which is an option.

Indeed most of the casualties have been of men 21 and under - mere teenagers some of them. But there are plenty of older men serving or on reserve.
* Also there is a major shortage of IDF manpower right now exacerbated by the fact that Orthodox ‘Haredi’ Jewish men are exempt from the draft due to their doctrine. A very controversial bill has been in question for awhile now to override that and has sparked major protest both in Israel and at the consulate in NYC.
Maybe Israel needs to revamp their regulations when it comes to military service. Eliminating Orthodox ‘Haredi’ Jewish men from service, means only part of the population is fighting for the survival of that country, yet those that are Orthodox benefit the same as those who give their time and lives to serve their country. I’d like to know how many claim to be “Haredi” but don’t actually follow the rules to claim exemption.
