Karen Bass in trouble after ‘downright devastating’ new poll ahead of LA mayoral primary
California Post ^ | 3/24/26 | Zain Khan

With just over two months until the mayoral primary, a majority of Los Angeles voters are fed up with Mayor Karen Bass, according to a new poll described as “downright devastating.”

The incumbent still leads the pack, albeit with just 25% of voter support — but roughly 25% of Angelenos are still undecided, according to a Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies/Los Angeles Times poll.

Meanwhile, ultra-left City Councilwoman Nithya Raman and reality TV personality Spencer Pratt are gaining on Bass, garnering 17% and 15% of voter support, respectively, the poll shows.

More concerning for Bass is her unfavorable rating among voters. A majority — 56% of likely voters — view the mayor negatively, while just 13% say they have no opinion.

“These are very discouraging, if not downright devastating, poll numbers for Karen Bass,” Dan Schnur, a political communications lecturer at USC and UC Berkeley, told ABC7.

“She’s running ahead of her opponents only because they are not very well known. That she’s having this much trouble against such a little-known field bodes very, very poorly for her.

“The only thing saving her at this point is that top-tier candidates who were considering running decided to stay out of the race.”

Some complaining millionaire GOP types in the area decided not to throw monetary support to her rivals. Thought it might be ungentlemanly to tip the balance. Soros never felt that way about the other side.

The people of Los Angeles will fix the problem by making it worse.

she and NewSCUM deliberately allowed the Palisades to burn to the ground in order to “Reimagine” it in their commie vision, full of low income housing so they could both claim they solved the housing crisis in this state..that is why NewSCUM after the Palisades fire happened he said “This is a great opportunity to reimagine the Palisades” he knew, they BOTH knew and they BOTH allowed it to happen..they are both murderers, they both killed 13 innocent people

Poor thing just may have to rely on her generous taxpayer funded retirement package for the rest of her life. Or go out and get another government job that pays her a generous taxpayer funded salary and benefits package. My heart goes out to her.🙄

...as people take to living in sewers.

Its terrible to admit that this is happening, but its been going on for a long time in CAli. This snip is from a 2015 expose' about San Bernardino from the LA Times:
