Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just dropped some new merchandise referencing a line from a hearing related to the Epstein files. Upon learning that Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert leaked a photo of her there, she stormed out, expressing that she didn’t care if the panel held her in contempt.
“You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home,” she said.
While this played well with her fans, some find the related merch distasteful.
Hillary Clinton’s Epstein hearing merch
Footage from the late February hearing started spreading on social media last week. As Clinton answered questions and categorically denied having any direct connection to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, her advisor interrupted after spotting a certain photo on X.
Nick Merrill had found right-wing personality Benny Johnson’s post showing Clinton at the hearing and claiming that she “does not look happy.” He tagged Boebert in the tweet, who soon admitted to sending the photo to Johnson.
“If you guys are doing that, I am done,” said Clinton. “You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior.”
You can hear Boebert saying that she took the photo before the hearing began, which did not placate the former presidential candidate.
“It doesn’t matter. We are all abiding by the same rules!”

Hillary merch? So much potential. So much potential.

Hey Hillary. How about selling this one at your online merch store too.
The clintons have dirtied up every aspect of the American political and legal process they have ever touched. Because they are crooked lying pigs and they have absolutely zero shame they do everything for themselves and their own profit and power.
Certainly one of their great Hallmarks is introducing lying into our society as something to be accepted rather than discouraged.
“Everyone lies about sex” and perjury under oath became nothing, in fact Ken Starr was a pervert for daring to ask the questions.
Not to mention abusing young interns.
And now it’s ok to be in contempt of Congress, storm out of hearings.
What a shame that couple has been because they have no shame.
“No one asked for this”: Hillary Clinton drops “cows come home” merch line from Epstein hearing and it’s skeeving people out. I wonder if Hillary sells as much merch as Caitlin Clark.
A..”Dropped” = introduced to the market for sale. OR
B..”Dropped” = cancelled the idea of selling
I’m assuming it’s meaning ‘A’.
Somehow, it has become common to use that verb in this way.
Who knows how this caught on? Probably via some Rap song.
No one else seems annoyed about it, but me.
How about til the US Marshals come for her?
She’s look like a cow, only truthfully, cows are kinda cute.
I hate when reporters do this.
First they use the shortened version of a word that takes but a few more letters, merch...andise. What? We can’t spell out the whole word? The new thing these days is using the word merch is somehow hip, a word long gone now but thankfully ‘hip’ cannot be shortened.
Then they go into the fact Hillary “ just dropped some new merchandise referencing a line from a hearing related to the Epstein files”. To paraphrase Svengoolie, ‘she has a store’?!
Then the article goes back to mentioning some photo that really makes Hillary mad but don’t tell you what the photo is, neither do they show it. So you spend the next few sentences not quite following what is being said and looking for that photo, which never shows up.
The article goes back and forth mentioning a lot of people I’m really not familiar with, I guess everybody else is but now the whole issue is cloudy to me with a lot of names that mean nothing to me and no photo to explain what the whole uproar is about.
Finally the article says the left wingers are more angry at what they call, ‘ the horrifying core subject matter put a sour taste in the mouths of many who saw the new merchandise’.
They supposedly are upset over the merchandise (wait. I thought we were shortening that word, oh well) and not the photo.? Huh?
Lastly, a mention of some weird place on Reddit. Who reads Reddit anyway? I guess the left but since this article is written on Yahoo which I thought was mainly biased for the left and seems not to like the Clintons I find that one even more confusing.
But that parts okay with me :)
She looks like a freakin’ demon if you ask me.....and I strongly suspect there’s a good reason.
Thanks for that. I thought it was just me that couldn’t follow this stupid article!
The thing is that cows come home every evening including holidays. They get milked in the morning, go out and graze all day, then come home to be milked in the evening.
I had to read that thing three or four times and finally only really was able to follow it after breaking it down to post what I thought.
Brother.
Isn’t it funny how new words just pop up out of nowhere. Skeeving? There are already plenty of words that can be used there. It’s a lot like janky which means something like junky.
Trust me, I am also annoyed. I have a list of things that annoy me, like the way people use further instead of farther to say farther.
