This morning I went to buy gas in Los Angeles. The price at the pump per gallon was as follows:
Unleaded ... $5.3999
Plus ... $5.4999
Premium ... $5.5999
Yet some people here are complaining about gas in their states being $3.50 or $3.60.
I moved out of California years ago. I’m sorry, but I dont understand what the problem is.
Enjoy!
I've got $$ to burn..
Trump
U.S.A.
Number 1. Save those Pennies! LOL!
“You’re missing the point. $3.50 is too high”
Where do you get that idea?
I’ll guess that Jim Bass when he’s pumping gas no longer makes $2.50 for an hour like he did in 1979.
Speaking of which, I was in a store today, and a sign on the cash register said: "We now round to the nearest nickel because of the discontinuation of pennies."
The sign didn't say whether they always round up, or sometimes round down.
I would have thought there's still enough pennies not to have to round.
Plus, I pay with a credit card. As, I assume, do most people.
Reg. $5.59
Mid: $5.79
Premium: $5.99
Been that way in Frisco for years. Now that Newscum is closing down hundreds of stations ‘cause they refuse to replace all their tanks with BShitte earthquake proof ones, the price will climb higher.
Competition, yah know.
If they round to the “nearest nickel” they round up and down.
It seems to be normal in Los Angeles. I found this photo, taken at a Los Angeles station (I don't know when).
I’d say for every state to take off their tax for a month...
Oil is fungible. It doesn’t matter where it comes from. Producers will seek a higher price and will sell to the highest bidder.
“Oil is fungible. It doesn’t matter where it comes from. “
You can’t send heavy crude to an area that only refines light sweet.
Tax on a gallon in Ca is $0.71
Gotta pay for Newsom’e new house 😏
Because it was about $2.50 a gallon about 2 weeks ago and the price increase is the result of action that appears to be unnecessary, particularly right now with the cost of living being the main issue going into the midterm elections. There is no scenario in which the strait of Hormuz being essentially blocked is beneficial to the US at all. The dems are just being handed a perfect talking point and fund-raising narrative going into November 2026. There doesn't seem to be an actual strategy being implemented here.
“You’re obsessed”
“Neocons”
“Kosher food”
“Israel recognizes gay marriage”
“Jews, don’t identify as “white.””
“Let’s also not forget Netanyahu’s lobbying of the U.S. to get rid of Saddam.”
“it’s okay to finance and fight wars for Israel because “Biblical rights.””
Those are within your last 80-odd posts, and that’s skipping over several other of your Israel and Jew focused posts.
Who’s obsessed, again?
You will, but I think it will backfire. I think this overspeculation run up will cause prices to collapse at some point. Then gas prices will come way down during the fall. Someone pumping their gas at a low price will see a Trump “I did that sticker” on the pump that was placed when it was high.
Oh know,it’s bad she Hawaii gas, prices are cheaper than California.
Around $3.89/gal here.
