Having said that, the claim is going viral on the left, so you need to have your facts lined up to challenge your TDS-suffering friends and acquaintances.
esterday, Donald Trump posted an interesting video on his social media about voting machine election fraud in 2020. This is obviously a topic dear to his heart. Moreover, as the investigations in Fulton County, Georgia, demonstrate, it’s still a very hot and important topic (making it all the more bizarre that Senate Republicans will not push the SAVE Act, which aligns with the bipartisan public desire for election integrity). That Trump would post such a video is a no-brainer.
The problem with the video Trump posted is that it’s a dead certainty that he reposted it without bothering to watch the whole thing. Had he watched it to the end, he would have known that there was a problem.
You see, the video is a screen recording captured by an unknown third party. And what the unknown third party was also clearly unaware of (or, possibly, didn’t care about) was the automated beginning of another, entirely unrelated video.
So, what you get after 58 seconds of a serious video about a serious topic is two seconds of an automatically played video showing Michelle and Barack Obama’s heads attached to the cartoon bodies of simian creatures. (Apes? Chimps? I have no idea.) You can see for yourself what happened: [video at link]
As I can attest from my slow learning curve in making video-podcasts, failing to clip the end of a screen recording is a classic amateur mistake. That means it’s entirely possible that the person who recorded the serious election fraud video, like Trump himself, had turned his attention away in the last few seconds, because the real point

Your opinion is, that Trump would have won in 2024 without social media?
A more accurate take is that Trump knows how to leverage social media to get his messaage across but occasionally, like all humans, his team makes an error by not snipping 2 seconds of an inadvertently captured following video that they didn’t notice.
Trump brings all his dealmaking skills to America’s service. He understands that being edgy drives viewership, discussion and carries his message far & wide. What some have called childish in the past acted to win him elections. People were engaged and in the end approved, while some conservatives clutched pearls.
Why that segment doesn’t grasp that “presidential”, non controvertial, strictly dry enunciation of conservative principles doesn’t win elections or lead to the enactment of conservative wishlist items I fail to understand. I put it down to lack of both reality testing & pragmatism, and to unwillingness to get one’s hands dirty or appeal to the unwashed masses.
Just a reminder....Trump had the first golf course in Florida that admitted Blacks and Jews. And I believe he had to fight the Town about it.
What is childish about what you posted? It is smack talk politics, and it was funny. Trump reportedly has a sharp sense of humor, and his taunts are funny. Maybe not to the anal retentive idividuals.
Our Founding Fathers were good at it too, a little more vicious with it, along with gunning each other down in duels.
I wonder how you would have responded had you observed, real time, Jesus calling the Pharisees snakes, blind fools, and hypocrites to their face.
Also, take a look at the source of the Obama clip (if the link works):

Nicely said.
It’s been a problem with the ADD president. He needs a decent editor for these types of things.

So, you want a scripted presentation like the democrats.
I like the REAL THING.
I suspect a DNC deep plant is responsible for this.
Please keep believing the main street press. You have no idea of the context of this. He was showing a video of voter fraud and about 3 seconds of the clip in question auto played before the recording finished. It’s so short they’re showing stills of video to try to make it bad. Everyone, please, for the love of God, do your own research before believing the democrat/media liars.
This situation is useful, it shows the dems only card is racism and everytime we expose that, it weakens the value.
the more they overplay their card and we point to the truth, the better it gets. The problem in the past is we never challenged the lies.
Trump sure got beat up here over the matter. A few didn’t care. Some never give a good man an opportunity for an explanation. I would have guessed that Trump’s support on FR had gone south of 50 percent in FR. Am I wrong?
Did you see the video in Trump’s post? It’s about vote fraud with a still frame from the meme video at the very end. Haters are acting like he posted the meme video but that is an absolute lie.
It’s the latest ‘shiny object’.
LOLOL! That’s hilarious, especially when they all bow down before the King of the Beasts!
I just don’t see the upside in posting videos like that, period. Just stick to text.
That conversation was not about impressing but a reflectyion of Trump’s discomfort, waiting to film a commercial he had agreed to appear in but which was had developed into a skit he was uncomfortable with since it involved a young woman clinging to him.
I had saved the video where context and analysis was given but after so many years I tidied my older politics folder and removed the link.
I posted the link several times on FR. If I locate the link in my FR comments I will add it here.
Trump also didn’t saying what he was accused of saying. He said quite accurately that some women were so eager to be close to the rich and famous that they would do anything for access. He also said that kind of behavior turned him off and he had closed off an acquaintance who had started to act that way with other men in his circle. He said to Bush that he found that behavior unattractive.
Agreed.
Naw... It's just Republican historians responding to Democrats' calling our Civil War President, "Ape" Lincoln:
Pres. Lincoln portrayed as a "great ape" or monkey by Democrats and their supporters:
My thoughts exactly.
A lot of disgruntled people left X, came back or hid in the shadows.
Who says that the video “shared” is the same as when “shared”, (”liked”, “thumbs-upped” - whatever, I don’t do SM)?
Maybe the White House machines don’t “auto-play”. I wouldn’t.
Team Trump needs to realize that this technology is straight out of Peking.
I recall the parade character balloon of President Trump. that cost a lot of money and wasn’t flattering.
