Having said that, the claim is going viral on the left, so you need to have your facts lined up to challenge your TDS-suffering friends and acquaintances.
esterday, Donald Trump posted an interesting video on his social media about voting machine election fraud in 2020. This is obviously a topic dear to his heart. Moreover, as the investigations in Fulton County, Georgia, demonstrate, it’s still a very hot and important topic (making it all the more bizarre that Senate Republicans will not push the SAVE Act, which aligns with the bipartisan public desire for election integrity). That Trump would post such a video is a no-brainer.
The problem with the video Trump posted is that it’s a dead certainty that he reposted it without bothering to watch the whole thing. Had he watched it to the end, he would have known that there was a problem.
You see, the video is a screen recording captured by an unknown third party. And what the unknown third party was also clearly unaware of (or, possibly, didn’t care about) was the automated beginning of another, entirely unrelated video.
So, what you get after 58 seconds of a serious video about a serious topic is two seconds of an automatically played video showing Michelle and Barack Obama’s heads attached to the cartoon bodies of simian creatures. (Apes? Chimps? I have no idea.) You can see for yourself what happened: [video at link]
As I can attest from my slow learning curve in making video-podcasts, failing to clip the end of a screen recording is a classic amateur mistake. That means it’s entirely possible that the person who recorded the serious election fraud video, like Trump himself, had turned his attention away in the last few seconds, because the real point

I am not saying I like Trump’s more childish posts because I don’t. But this looks like what probably happened if it wasn’t a setup which it could easily be.

The bash Trump thread. Gives everyone a chance to vent on Trump, probably the best President we’ve had since Reagan or long before. The good news is that when Trump is gone the same people can whine, bitch, piss & moan even louder, for it’s just their nature as unhappy beings.
Team Trump was trying to be edgy and engaging with a hip meme and went over the line into classical racism. There always the potential for a FUBAR when playing stupid meme games. On the positive side we can be certain the Klan vote is wrapped up for the midterms...
One thing for sure about the post it shows what the left will vote for TWICE for their hatred for this country.
In review of decades of reading posts on Free Republic, my testimony is that conservatives always revert to biting the hand that feeds them.
Conservatives always pick out some trivial factor that differs from their extremely narrow view, desert the cause and then chew on the feeding hand.

The first half of this video was about election integrity and it wasn’t a meme.
The video Trump (or an aid) posted was about the 2020 vote fraud investigation. The Obama part was the first two seconds of the next video on X that started automatically. Trump or his aid should have snipped that part out.
I’m looking forward to the meme that Trump gets to post where he’s dancing on the seditious conspirator Obama’s grave.

This makes it all sound so innocent. The same people who maliciously clamped down on Twitter, distorted the algorithms, shadow banned people and forced Musk to buy the steaming pile - why they had NOTHING to do with this! Why, corrupting the Internet is beyond their Lilly-white hands!
